hmm that is odd. you should contact them. ive only ordered from them twice so far but both times they say that they do not charge until after/when they ship the items. you should give them a call. you do mean 5 business days right?
I called them yesterday.
The woman I spoke to could see that my order had been made last week and was still waiting to be dispatched. She said she would check it out so she put me on hold then came back and said that there had been some hold up, but it would be sent out that evening.

She also said that they charge as soon as they take the order not when they dispatch it, which is why I had been charged for it last week.
So anyway today I logged on to see if my parcel had been dispatched yet, but it read 'sorry the items on this order are no longer available'.


I was kinda confused (not just because I was told yesterday that the items were in stock and would be sent out to me that night) but because since I placed my order a week ago, both items have been available for sale everyday on the TOPSHOP site. So today when I read the new status on my order, I went back to the merchandise pages to look for the items again.
But was even more confused to find that both items were still available for purchase in full size ranges.

Btw, they still have my money...which as a student $200 leaves a massive hole in the account which could have been handy over the weekend

So anyway I called them again today, when I started I was 25th in the queue!!! (needless to say all these phones calls are a big fat waste of time)
I asked what happened, and why it took them a week to tell me they are out of stock but charged me for the goods anyway. I also asked why the items are still for sale on their site.
They explained that it takes awhile for them to update the site. And as for the money, because I'm an international customer it should take some days before it's returned to my bank.
Because I didn't want this whole exercise to have been a complete waste of time, I asked if they would simply keep the money and send me the goods when they come back in (because I was told the items would be back in stock in a couple of weeks) but she said no "we don't hold stock". When I explained that it wouldn't be holding because I've already paid for it, she replied no we can't sell you something if we don't have it....but hang on, why was my card charged last week for then?!!


There was no sorry we wasted your time or money...nothing.
The only thing I gained here is a complete headfck.
