I have a sizing question if any of you guys can help. I always order either UK 10 or 12 when I order from Topshop but since I can only order from the American site now they're using American sizes or something. The other day I selected what should've been a UK 12 and I got an American 16. The shirt is like a dress on me but it actually kinda works bc of that in a weird way but that's only bc it's a loose style and for the future I don't want to keep receiving sizes that are too big for me so what size should I order that would be the equivalent to a UK 12?

Mathematically speaking, you should order the item 4 sizes down in American sizing. For example, a UK 4 would be an american size 0.
Therefore, if you're looking for a 12, you should order a size 8.
And for a size 10 you should order a size 6.
I'm not sure if the american sizes come up big or small or if they're just the same measurements as the UK equivalent but when you're looking at the item page you should be able to click a link to the size chart and it will specify measurements


If anyones looking for the Emma Cook Platform Sandals (black or beige with the zip) some have been returned back to the site in size 38. There's 2 pairs of black at the moment and one pair of beige.

That means that there are more sizes in US form than UK form! Which is unfair because people have been protesting for UK 18s for ages never mind UK 20s which is US 16 !!!

Maybe it was a mis print and was meant to be an English 16? (Which would be a UK 12). The stock people could have got it around the wrong way? Because don't they all get sent out from the same place? The stock levels on both US and UK sites seem to be the same all the time.

kbella- oo what branch? Well, I was wondering how hard it is to get a job at this time due to the economic downturn and also how you even apply. Is it on the website or do I give in my CV? x
