has anyone visited the new store on Bloor St. called N()ir?!
it looks amazing!
i just haven't had time to hop in...if anyone went, i'd love a review:P
Noir is operated by people who was running Icii and Bloor 83 before. They have Raf Simons, Yohji, Virdi-anne, Dolce and Gabbana, Rykiel Homme, and Westwood for men. Not sure if they will have Undercoverism.

Wow that sounds amazing. Finally Toronto is getting some good brands. I'm going there as soon as I can. My birthday is coming up so spendy spend.

i went to N()ir this saturday...
i was amazed to see that they carry alaia, the woman said they have an exclusive deal, and are putting up with alaia's random scheduling...:P
otherwise, i was a little sad to see the really good labels watered down by missoni, dolce & gabbana, etc.

i understand, though...they are catering to different types of customers.

The only store I know of is Hollywood Canteen. I can't tell you anything about the quality of their movies, though. If they don't have any of the movies you're looking for, I'm sure they can recommend other places where you may find them.

This may be a shot in the dark, but I live about 2 hours from Toronto and have never been to Holt Renfrew before. Does anyone know if they sell Marc Jacobs shoes? I am specifically looking for the slingback patent petal heels (the ones with the bead wedged in the heel) from F/W 06-07. If anyone is in Holt Renfrew, and notices them, or could check for me and tell me if they have them I would die! Pleeease! This is the shoe:

When will the Viktor & Rolf collection be available at H&M? I haven't heard anything about it coming to Toronto. And what location?

I think it's Nov. 10th, and the Eatons Centre location will probably have it. You should really phone to make sure though. :( You could trying checking hm.com, but from the Viktor and Rolf for H&M thread, it seems like their list of stores is really sketchy. Best bet is to call! :flower:

^it's november 9th, this thursday. the only two store carrying the collection will be the Eaton Centre and Bloor St.

Yep, they will have it at Eaton centre for sure, because last friday I went there, all workers were wearing the black t-shirt. On the front was Viltor & Rolf, back of the shirt was Novembre 9. That explains all.

so...the store called noir is simply called that? when i read about this, i thought it was the label noir opening a store in toronto. i guess i was wrong...

Hi does anyone know when 83 bloor is closing...they seem to be doing a big sale there thanks

haven't they said that they were closing for a long time now? They were posting "last few days" signs two months ago.

come to think of it...i think i went to that N()ir store with my mom many months back. i remember this woman there complimenting on my blue boots
i havent went to bloor for so long...=T

Is TNT Blu having any boxing day sales? Has anyone been to the TNT Clearance store on Eglington? I've never been but i would love to check it out - thanks for any input!

i think i'm going to toronto on saturday, so any ideas on where to go for good sales would be much appreciated! i'm from texas, so any large, high end stores are a bore to me, so any small boutiques/vintage shops are what i'm in the market for. ~tia!~

^check you Second Time Around if you are going to yorkville
it's a semi vintage/second hand store, i know the woman that owns it..she's really nice. you might find some interesting stuff there

the store is pretty small..and it's kinda hard to find. it's around that rainbow store and 'legs beautiful'(store). it's on the third floor of that tiny building.
