Trends We Love #1

I'll admit that high-waisted skirts are to my liking. I've seen this one femme sport this black high-waist skirt with a magenta button-down shirt and cute black pumps. Maybe I like high-waist skirts a bit more since skirts are more versatile than pants. The high-waist is kind of catching on here in the Houston-Galveston area.

feather/sequined headgears
black lace
leather jackets
fur
capes
leather pants/leggings
red lipstick
raccoon eye makeup

I won't stop saying it.

SKINNY JEANS for men and women equally.

Don't let them die.

high-waisted skirts
scrunchy boots
headbands
colored tights
sweater dresses

I don't think skinny jeans are going to die out any time soon. I've been burned out over seeing skinnies and leggings, but have no fear. There will still be plenty of skinny jeans for hommes and femmes to wear and add to their wardrobe. They'll still be in style.

For me
High waisted skirts
tights not leggings
boots of any kind but mostly lace ups
Dark lipstick
Capes
Gloves

I love the elegant ressurection of goth and grunge, but I haven't seen it on the street yet, only in magazines and window displays.

Love the new goth trend I have dresses classy goth in highschool and people where so annoying about it
I think that elegant/new goth to me is:
A nice black dress a structured jacket that has a little edge and some amazing shoes heels or boots dont forget deep red lipstick and a good dark manicure. Basically I think is about being polished and still having an edge without being to hot topic or mall goth. Another trend I love is faux fur.

Here's the strange thing about "elegant goth"; it's always been elegant to me. When I got involved with the goth scene, most people dressed close to how you described, Sophia. I was quite surprised when I travelled to England and the USA, where the stereotype that goths look scary and sloppy sometimes held true. Still, it's a stereotype, a generalization. I'm just glad the mainstream media has acknowledged the elegant side of goth.

Love love loving the leggings & tights combos for men, as well as the very top heavy knit silhouette cinched with a belt.

dark red nails
nude pumps
tulip skirts
feminine ruffled tops
gladiator platforms
body-con anything

The high-waist love continues. High-waist trousers with sailor button detail are lovely to me. I usually associate sailors with widely flared pants, but the sailor button detail is what I'm starting to like as well. I think I even got to see high-waisted mini skirt one femme wore with knee-high leather boots. The whole deal about high waists confuse me with a variety of garments. Like... is it really a mini if it has a high waist? It's just these outside-the-box fashion ideas that confuse yours truly sometimes. I also saw my first over-the-knee boots I liked even after I've ragged on them.

Good deals during the two malls I visited on Black Friday.
