Agree 100 percent. Also love the ballet flat, though I won't be giving up my Jimmy's anytime soon...just add a couple of pairs of ballet flats to the mix. I have big feet though (American 11) so I have to be careful with the flat shoe. The pointy ones don't work for me but my lovely Channel cap toe ones (which I got to purchase a size smaller b/c of the rounded toe) are wonderful. I think that the black toe helps alot.

You could try Gap.com, I just got a fantastic pair form there. They are really comfortable and cute. Also Nordstrom.com or Urbanoutfitters.com I know that they both have ballet flats.

In Australia we always catch the latest trends a year later. Were slow with the latest trends....I haven't really seen it in Australia yet.

www.zappos.com will have tons to choose from. Plus, many of their Delman flats are on sale! I also saw a gorgeous pair of Sigerson Morrison for $50-something.

seems to be somekind of a street trend over here.. both for boys and girls

Everything vintage. Recently i was given a black bag that belonged to my great- grandmother. Very cool.
I also found a black 80's versace bag that goes with everything.

Other current faves: a 2-tone purple stripy jumper by new look
and a white with red hearts bag from "Rock Royalty" made by moi.

Art Deco anything. Hearts everywhere, especially on shoes.

Mixing silver with gold in accessories.

I'm really looking forward to the Beatnik look hitting our shores...
So far we are going into A/W 05/06 .... velvet, skinny jeans ans waistcoats are the big trends, and also military jackets.

I'm really loving the "new goth" look, especially clothing and accessories with skulls like the infamous Alexander McQueen scarf and morphine generation tops. I just ordered the skull clutch from Luella Bartley's target line so I'm excited for that as well.
