I don't like trends, not because I'd be that personal person, but I just resent the idea that some business people/snobby designers have the power to decide what do you think is cool.
But I do like black and simplicity coming back. And ballet flats.

I don't see a 'trend' as any one person or group of people deciding what others should think is cool.

I see a trend as people in general deciding what looks good on them and just by chance others agree with them, even if that means they saw it in magazine or on a runway. A trend all about choice.

t shirts...... wash them at least 3-4 times before wearing it... like you don't to wash it with its specific color category, you can wash for ex. a white t shirt with the black or blue stuff, so the tshirt looks old faster..... and to distress it in some specific areas, use a cheese "raper" (is that how it's called?!) ...... I hope this helps... :flower:

The "dancer" look
pastel and soft grey, black and white
ballet flats
cute A line dresses (how i wish i could wear them.)
all the beautiful, soft skirt shapes out there right now.

i like skinny jeans ( faded black, denim blue ), tote bag (brown) , ballet flats (black, white) , tunics , :D

:woot::woot::woot:
SKINNY JEANS. After losing 20 pounds of adolescent weight, I can wear them without looking like an oompa loompa.

No makeup look with messy hair. Not really a look I adore, but it's a godsend. Waking up too late and rushing ot of the house is now a fashion statement.

There's so much I want to buy as far as new trends that I think will really "trends-send" the season. (I am SO cheesy) Problem is, everyone in Uni right now is broke. Here's a list of what I want for Spring and cannot have:

A 3rd pair of skinny jeans. And oh hell, a 4th and a 5th. They're so much classier than the bootcut and flare styles that I've been wearing since grade 6.
An updated pair of short shorts. The recent ones are much less "tourist" and more "resort."
Espadrilles. Because they're hawt with shorts. I don't think they look good on older women, though. I'm 18, so I can pull it off I think.
A white sundress that's opaque enough not to show my thong.
The large Gaucho bag by Dior. I hope I can find something similar for 200 dollars or less after I get a job. My heart shattered when I saw the price tag. I love the slouchy, big bags.
The white trend is so beautiful. It's very diaphanous, very feminine. Those models seem to just float down the runway like angels.

This isn't really a trend, but I need more MAC makeup. Their Dejarose line that's coming up looks delicious. http://www.specktra.net/forum/showthread.php?t=38114&highlight=sweetiecake

- All shades of grey
- Black denim
- Nautical (as log as not overdone, just one or two items)

*touches of red
*golden coated linens
*victorian type shirts
*waistcoats
*trousers (mens styled, pyjamas and dark skinny denim)

stripey tops, skinny jeans, eccentric scarves, vintage bracelets, reds, yellows and greens saturated with grey and converse is like my whole wardrobe at the moment.

i suppose most of those are trends, but wether they are or not i love them!

  • sheer black fabrics
  • sheer white fabrics
  • opaque black tights
  • vintage inspired sparkly indian scarves
  • tiny tiny bags with long thin strap
  • miniskirts
  • washed out shades of black
  • faux leather
  • high gloss vinyl fabrics for accessories
  • vertiginous platforms

- dark denim
- long necklaces
- nike dunks
- cardigans
