^ Did you say jelly shoes? Not those shoes with the gel-like webbing, right? Not the jellies we have in the US..?

^Probably the ones you're thinking of. I have seen them for sale for a while in the states. It tripped me out the first time though... brought back a lot of memories! :flower:

^^ omfg fruit of the loom .. so many memories .. ts what all the cool kids in junior school wore instead of the ghastly regulation sweatshirt .. all though in reality it was the same but the fruit of the loom badge made it oh so cooler lol.
Also all sports teams bought fruit of the loom tee shirt/sweatshirts etc. because they were plain, well made and easy to get team logo etc. printed on them.
And if you were "cool" youd wear them with leggings at the weekend etc.
ahh the memories .. that poist has made me all nostalgic now lol x

I love:
Espadrilles
pearls
costume jewelry
Bettie Page bangs (are these even a trend?)
Sailor hats (Also might not be an actual trend.)

I am totally loving -

Plain Long T-shirts (like, over the bum) with a silk scarf tied round the waist instead of those rib breaking huge wide belts I hate :ninja:

Boy Jeans

Ballet flats, all flats in general really, I have gone off heels right now

Anything red or green (but not together, it aint crimbo yet)

Cropped trousers and jeans

Wrap dresses and denim jackets

Quite a lot of things I am liking at the moment, and lucky for me, everyone in my town is still obsessed with Skinny Jeans and stripey tops, and those horrible leggings with short skirts, so at least I am individual again

"retro" shades of red
patent handbags
hair pulled off the face (I have even started rockin' the "Elaine" bump of the 90's but w/a ponytail:blush: )
earrings that don't dangle, but contour the ear
tights w/ character dance shoes ( Repetto)
very structured, tailored dresses and jackets

plains tees
fitted knee length shorts
aviators sunglasses
flats
simple minimalistic styles

something different

I love bustiers, and teeshirts together. Now I am sure this is an Amsterdam thing, but it so cute.

>Bubble or puff short sleeves
>gladiator shoes
>tailored shorts
>shirt dresses
>eyelet fabric
>skinny scarves
>golden bags (square shape versions)

fanny packs....
mark my words. some designer is going to put it on the runway...and it will be a hit. I have an aged leather olive green one. With a gold zipper. Its a keeper.
brace yourself....its going to happen

I was thinking exactly the same the other day. Basically because I can't be bothered carrying my life in a bag over my shoulder anymore. Yours sounds fantastic! I wish I could find one in leather. Seems to be hard to find.
