Trends You Are Sick Of...

I'm getting rather sick of people pairing strappy sandals (think Stuart Weitzman's Nudist) with everything even if it doesn't complete look. Just another case of people going crazy with a trend.

And crop tops. Just stop it already.

^Is that who makes those gorgeous shoes! Thanks! I was wondering you see...:blush:

Well if the shoes make the outfit look good then go for it!

i'm tired of seeing what some people call the "fuccboi" style. please.

^ lol

mini rant but mom jeans when it's no longer 2013 is *sighs*... but mom jeans when you already look like a mom or how to say this nicely, just don't have the body for it and the irony of wearing something unflattering because you're just that bad*ss and can rock it gets lost (esp if you just have a bad a*ss instead :ninja:)... just no... a painful thing to see.

I am still not feeling nose/septic rings. As if most facial jewelry doesn't freak me out or look dumb, I am not into these rings at all. Wear earrings. Ear piercings are perfectly fine even if some of them are grotesquely ugly. Those should be the ONLY acceptable facial jewelry. Nose/Septic rings- make it stop. Please? Nothing cute/sexy/attractive/fun about them.

As I said, I don't have a problem if they work well with the outfit. I have a problem with them being paired with everything even if they don't match.

- Contouring. This contouring thing has gone too far with the Instagram propaganda. I was in London this week and it was hard to not see a girl with fake cheekbones and eyebrows. That being said I hope this trend won't gain Paris.

- Agreed for the chunky plateforme. Sometimes something is so trendy that you don't realize how bad it looks.

Not sure what to call it, but I am going to call it is "just add sneakers" to certain dress and skirt outfits. Let me explain- you know how you see a femme in a pencil skirt or some lovely dress... then she pairs them with some sporty sneakers. I am someone who finds importance in what footwear is worn in regards to structuring an outfit. The wrong pair of shoes can kill everything. And sure enough, some outfits look terrible just because of pairing some sporty sneakers with a lovely skirt or dress outfit. It is commonly dainty dress meets sporty sneakers. I say to leave the active sneakers to active outfits and not paired with chic dresses and chic skirts. I don't like them all that much, but Converses are better alternatives if pairing dresses or skirts with sneakers. A better skirt/dress + sneakers alternative is to go with something like those Keds Champion sneakers (a la Taylor Swift) or maybe some laceless sneakers. But please- don't ruin a lovely skirt or lovely dress with a poor pair of sneakers! You can express a sporty look better with an actual sporty outfit rather than ruin a chic dress or chic skirt with athletic sneakers.

Black leather leggings and black leggings in general.I hate seeing these everywhere.I'am really tired of the I woke up like this tee shirts inspired by Beyonce its terrible and no she never wakes up looking like that.

I love highlight and contour makeup though it looks better than the new fad strobing makeup. It makes your cheekbones look good the contour makeup.

So it was Beyoncé (one of my fellow Houstonians) who came up with that "I woke up like this" trend? I didn't know that. I was SO over that thing as easily as any of those "Parental Advisory Explicit Content" outfits.

The coffee tees bother me the "okay but first coffee" hoodies and tops suck its not even a cute saying.

All logo tees bother me .A lot of graphic tees have really stupid sayings on them I hate them.I like some of wildfox couture's fashion line though. They sometimes have cute stuff.

- those windsor smith chunky white platform shoes (jesus bloody christ..)

They are everywhere in Australia at the moment. I went out one weekend and every second girl had white wedge platform shoes. It was infuriating.

One thing I'm sick of is Instagram, or rather the aesthetic "look" that so many people strive to have on their profile. It's like a collection of images of a food, sunsets, a plant, some close up shots of objects or symmetry, a bed with books on it, a intricately angled selfie or some high rise building looking up, taken from below. All very pretentious. The younger generation become more and more self obsessed each day, with Instagram likes and followers only feeding that narcissism. I predict it will back fire eventually. Nothing will be sacred, or original, because everyones already done it AND documented it, thanks to social media.

Obscene and/or offensive pictures and phrases on clothes and accessories. They are everywhere.

backpacks...

fine for hiking or camping...
nothing else...

:ninja:

^Also a staple among law student. (Not that I would ever touch a backpack myself)

Trends I'm sick of are these typical basic clothes jeans with abercrombie sweater and a jacket from superdry ... worst is when they wear it matching as couples
