*Worrying about being seen in the same clothes twice in a row. I don't care anymore. If I want to wear this jeans on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I will. If I want to wear this shirt on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday then yes I will. For some reason where I live (and elsewhere in America) wearing the same clothing back to back is a fashion faux pas (sp?). You're either dirty, or going through a difficult time if you're wearing the same clothing back to back. It's clean and it shouldn't matter because I'm sure most people aren't washing their jeans after one wear or shirt after one wear (taken into account if the shirt or jeans isn't soiled). There really isn't a difference between wearing something twice in one week or waiting to wear it again (without washing might I add) next week.

the only thing ill wear twice in a row are jeans and shoes. i dont think thats too much to ask, sometimes that pair of jeans matches the outfit the best! no one gives me sh*t about it around where i live so its all good in da hood.

Bell bottom jeans . . . horrific-looking on me. I can proudly say I've never tried UGGs or any of those other shoes trends. I avoid most shoe trends because I have a thing for ugly-cute shoes. Although there is such a thing as just plain ugly shoes still. I haven't worn sneakers in the longest time, but I've had to get a new pair for the gym.

Those peasant tops circa 2002-2003 really left their mark on me though. I have so many strange clothes that I need to get rid of. Any overtly preppy wear I deeply regret. I just look so plain and feel so uncomfortable.

Hot Pink Ski pants, thick spice girl type shoes, peasant tops, fringe belts.

Oh the days of middle school.

dark green crushed velvet bellbottom pants.
oh god.
in my defense, i was in 5th grade

Baby tees, JNCO jeans, glitter, lip gloss, acrylic nails/long nails, straightening my hair with flat irons (I blame this on Jennifer Aniston), 90s goth (it was so so ugly thank god it was a very short period), those awful Hard Tail ruffled skirts, flip flops.

Almost forgot Juicy Couture sweats. I just knew this wasn't even "me" I was just being a slave to bad fashion trends. I once wore it out and one of my friends saw me and later that day told me, "I couldn't believe it was you. You NEVER dress like that." And after that day, I never did again!

UGGS, or should I say UGHS.
I bought a couple of pairs in camel and black and I thought they were cute. But then the outside texture of the boot became ugly after I walked in it in the rain. It was pretty much like I threw away $130 .
I still have my black pair, but I only wear it around the house ... when it's cold out ... like they should be worn as ... not in water or with miniskirts :yuk:.

My forever 21 rainbow bright days and crazy tights with crazy socks. Just got rid of 3 trash bags of clothes that were mostly awful stuff from high school.

Don't you guys just like usual casual clothes such as jeans and a shirt. That seems like the logical option for anyone to wear out in thes street. Sure you can wear other stuff, but trends are not always going to work out. I find the trends worth following are ones that suit yourself. If you do not feel comfortable with it, then just do not wear it. Plain and simple.

wearing american apparel from head to toe. at least i was comfy, but i looked trashy. still like the store but i've learned to style things better.

gladiator sandals. i tried them out with a cheap pair from ebay and i just felt too ridiculously trendy. there are some nicer variations on the gladiator i don't mind though.

It's true that classics always work ... and you should wear what you know looks good on you.

But .... the most of the people here are fashion oriented, so they often are the early adopters of the newest and latest trend. Perhaps thinking that they love it or that it will mark them as a trend setter .... only to look back and realize that it was rather silly looking or too common ... or just wrong.

I know that I've worn things that I loved at the time ... but looking back, after styles totally change .... now, I see how silly the whole thing was. Not just me ... the whole trend and all of us who bought into it! But then, that is what makes fashion so interesting and a lot of fun.

We learn from our mistakes ... so we have to take chances so that we can learn.

ankle boots they don't look that good if you are petite. I wonder If high heel oxford shoes would work
