aaargh I had a neon orange adidias tracksuit with black stripes down the arms. I wore this with 'kappa' white trousers and platform shoes!!!! (back in the days of spice girls) I think i was about 11?

You've basically described what I used to wear at the same age! Except I had an electric blue adidas tracksuit with bright orange stripes...hideous

oh man i have so many.

i remember in the late 90s when i was in 6th grade, i wore these black platform tennis shoes (my inspiration was the spice girls).

around 8th grade i wore jeans that were over bleached AND ripped. oy vey. and i wore them with shirts that had slits going horizontally down the back.

when the "skater" look was popular in la i was all over it. super wide vans, baggy band tees, cargo pants a size too big, etc... i think the skater look has changed quite a bit now though.

overalls with one strap unfastened. (i still love overalls though, just not worn that way.)

like a lotta people mentioned, i regret buying so many von dutch hats. even though i still wear mine though since i hardly see people wearing them anymore. i think i bought around 5 or 6? geez louise.

i used to wear a crapload of these little colorful butterfly clips in my hair in junior high. i hate seeing pictures of me wearing them, i'm so embarrassed. i looked ridiculous.

wearing two pairs of tube socks, each one a diff color.

when i was in elementary school i also wore a complete denim outfit! denim scrunchie, denim shirt, denim jacket, denim jeans... omg, why did my mom lemme outta the house in that outfit!

haha same here. thought they looked so cool fortunately i was never comfortable in them and realized their outfit-killing quality after a couple of tries.

in retrospect, i'm glad i got that out of my system when those trends were only just starting to re-emerge! wish everyone would do the same already

There's this girl in my class who wears pretty much everything in this thread, her style is so tacky. Very Cavalli and Cavalli happens to be her favourite designer or probably the only name she's heard of.
Everyone goes on about how 'stylish' she is...
