necklaces

I've noticed a trend in Europe; collective necklaces.
Just take a very long necklace and hang some different things on it. Preferably a combination of two oppposite colours and gold/glimmer stuff.
Coral red/turkois will do it. Maybe a shell or some bone/wood, a cross, a deadhead, anything that has a personal touch. Some Swarovski beads.
It's the answer to those bracelets with a million hangers on them. I like it a lot.

I like the more flattering clothes, although I am skinny, I am so sick of elastic, spandex, lycra, a.s.o.

I am praying for higher fitted jeans to become fashion again, I am starting to get bored by hipsters, also because most women should just not wear them. And my kidneys hate them

Ciao.

^That sounds so much cooler than the bracelets. :woot:
I haven't seen it anywhere though.

^ i like to wear it. i have this long, thin gold necklace and i like to attach a couple of things to it. could be brooches, shells, rings, any kind of charms actually.

^yeah me too, but I can't seem to find a normal long necklace anywhere. it's weird.

i am all about wicked trends and my favorite one of the moment is ugg boots and mini skirts paired with von dutch truck driver hats
love!

(incase you cant tell im like TOTALLY MESSING AROUND ON THAT ONE)

REAL TRENDS? its all about the shrugs! lacey frilly short and happy! just get something that is lacey and short and kinda off the wall and put it over a REAL vintage funky teeshirt and your set. and if you are mary kate (whom i love) put on loads of big necklaces ...MURCH LURVE

What about bamboo? I saw "bamboo shoes" and a bamboo watch from Gucci, and I saw bamboo bangles in InStyle this month. I love this trend, but I read an article on the "How are trends decided?" thread, and a "trend-finder" said that this would be big in 2006. Well, is it a spring trend or should I wait until next year to try it?

Here is an example of the Gucci watch:

The bamboo looks much nicer in person!
(Im sure you can picture the bamboo bangles)

yep. it does surely look fab. i like the bamboo style. is it more expensive than the actual metal? I believe these kind of watches are around $1000-1500$

i do like the "collective" necklaces idea, i have been exploring that for a while now, i just don't have enough necklaces LOL

as for low-slung jeans, i do pray they stay just because i've got a really short body with long legs and i look really terrible in high-waisted or normal waisted pants/jeans/skirts

there are bamboo braclets for sale at Wal-Mart here in hawaii... kinda funny.

maybe this will become a trend among chihuahuas
