How lame is this season? The plot is over the place...booooring! Twenty minutes almost on Hoyt!!!!! For chrissake he was just the secondary sidekick of a secondary character! Sookie is boring, eric is boring....all gone! I used to love this show, now I gotta force myself to finish each episode....Alan Ball what have you done???
 
Loved the finale! Finally my show is BACK! This kind of episode is why million of viewers got hooked. THIS last episode redeemed a boring season.
 
imo the second half of the season dragged but wow at the finale! finally the show is back to its origins! campy, ridiculous, freaky, funny, love it! :)
Sookie curtseying to the elder was so much fun lol
 
^ YOU'RE SO RIGHT. It was totally camp what with the music and Lafayette sashaying around feeding the waitresses cajun margaritas!
I also think that with every season Eric just gets better and better. Bill just seems like a supporting character these days.
 
Alex S who plays Eric, plays eric like he is in the book, im SOOOO happy for this, as the actor who plays bill, has ruined him, im soo unhappy with how he has gone down hill since the 1st season, i would say my fave in the whole series is Eric Pam and laf, even though laf didnt have a big part in the book, i feel he brings alot to the show
 
I thought this season was one of the best in awhile. I thought it was quite consistent all the way through. I'm highly interested in this Warlow guy, because I'm pretty sure he's not in the books (I've only read up to about book 9).

I'm hoping with Alan Ball stepping down as head writer next season, it will help refresh the show a little bit. My favorite storyline this season was probably Tara becoming a vampire (Rutina Wesley was so sexy this season--work it girl), the relationship between Russell Edgington and Steve Newlin (hilarious), and I really liked the focus on Sookie's background and opposed to focusing on her relationship with Bill and Eric. I thought that was a much needed change for her character. I don't think she was naked once this season.
 
^None of this season´s stories are on the books, except that Sookie has a fairy cousin named Claude and that her parents are dead.
 
I really liked the vampire religion thing, gave all the vampires a new dimension. And I loved how Eric was the one to not fall for it
 
I think the final 2 episodes were the best of the entire season... The finale was great, I wish the whole season had kept up the entertainment like that! Eric saying "hello" to Pam was so sweet. He was my favourite character again this season (although Pam & Lafayette are close runner ups). I will watch again next year, just because it's one of my guilty pleasures :lol:

I hope this season is good, I miss the campyness. Last season lost me towards the end. I need a very comprehensive recap. :lol:
 
lol yes, all I remember was Bilith emerging from the pool of blood
I hope they can get the spark of the first couple of seasons back, somewhere along the way they sort of lost it.
 
Bilith :lol: I love that name. That finale was the best part of the whole season.

I really just watch for Erik, Pam & Alcide. I cannot stand Sookie or Bill, they were great together.

I really liked Bill the first season, and Sookie was cute in the beginning, but down the line they have become so irritating and they ruined Bill's first season look.
Love Eric too but Pam just makes the show. I am missing my weekly dose of Pam.
