True Blood

there was too much going on this season that it feels like nothing really happened, does that make sense? i feel like they never end stories but keep introducing new ones. i still enjoy the show but i hope it doesn't jump shark soon.

-tara was so sad the entire season, give her the attitude back!
-too many new stories, have they not heard of supporting casts? everyone has their own story. i love jessica and hoyt but we don't need a story from them too. sam's, and i feel like andy's getting his own story, and jason's omg he's getting on my nerves (ps what is his story in the book?). i understand the whole transition to the witch thing so i'm okay with that.

sorry rant over. it's just frustrating because this show can be better but i feel like it's slowly getting worse (with a few hits here and there).. :(

i agree there are too many storiýlines, but i do want Hoyt and Jessica. i'm not interested in Jesus and Lafayette though that's probably the first new character in the show, i hope he dies in the witchfight.
i loved Arlene in the second season ("i date-raped Terry Bellefleur") but this season was very disappointing, Terry is the cutest guy in the world, but i just wasn't invested in their story:(
Sam is better as just the boss, maybe good friend to Sookie, not worthy of his own storyline.
they should oncentrate more on Pam and Fangtasia (and more Ginger:lol:) and please bring back the Newlins, i'm generally more interested in the vampire world of True Blood.

Can Eric get any hotter? Gee...hard to watch, really.
Burn his face, then pour some concrete, and he gets hotter.

Bill seems so blah besides him.

Next season we absolutely NEED more Eric time, and less Sam, Jason, and all guys that are not Eric. Well a sprinkle of Alcide maybe. But mostly Eric. Did you hear guys??

"eric is so hawt!!!1!" comments are becoming draining.we get it! he hasn't gotten any less hot the last 50 times you guys said it.
just as i feared trueblood is losing its edge. so many storylines that fall short.
-the methhead storyline was so incredibly anticlimactic.it did not deserve an entire season's build up only for it to end the way it did.
-the special effects need to be updated so badly.
-tara needs to stop f-cking crying.Pam has officially taken the baddest b*tch crown from her.
-i'm secretly pleased Russell wasnt killed.he has been by far the most entertaining villain.
-does sookie really need 3 lovers to feel loved?

My two-cents on the finale ^_^

-Jason/Hotshot storyline is so lame. The book´s is better, they should have keep it as it is...

-Tara is leaving town! YAY! :woot::p

-Didn´t care much about Jessica, Sam, Arlene or Lafayette... too many characters with little time on air to create interesting storylines.

-How come Bill didn´t know that Eric would call for Pam the minute he hits the foundation?! Bad a$$ Pam is the best! or maybe he thought Ruben would be faster?

-Eric looked incredible HOT all covered in cement at Sookie´s house!!:heart:

-Bill´s secret is finally out, Die Bill Die :p

-The Queen´s outfit was great! but the fight scene was horrible, where were they? in the Matrix? those effects are so 10 years ago!

Pretty much agree with everything you said.

:blink::blink:

I think we all agree that comments in the "Eric is so hawt" style are meant in an amusing, joking kind of way. Girly talk. Trivial, amusing, light, fun nonsense.

Not to be taken soooooooooo seriously, really.

Besides that....that I think that the show has a notorious imbalance in the way the caracters are treated.
I end up always feeling we had too much of the "supporting" stories, and too little of "the real deal" or "the main course".

Most of the comments here go in that vein. Maybe they should balance things a bit better next year. I don´t HATE Sam, just that I don´t want so much of him. The same with all the side characters (Tara, Jason, Andy, et al)

What was with the doll in Hoyt and Jessica's house...why was that a focal point? Anyone else pick up on that...

^oh god, that was so spooky. people on ontd guess it's got something to do with that girl he dated (can't remember her name...the one who wants to marry him). she was into dolls, right?
and her and his mother were buying guns in the scene before, so maybe she's hiding in the house? but i don't know

With all the witchcraft stuff starting, who knows? It was creepy. But I do have a feeling that Hoyt might end up dead or as a vampire. Couples never stay happy on this show.

Well that's all folks. See ya next year.

Just want an excuse to post this gif :p

The doll is probably Summer's, I really hope nothing happens to Hoyt and Jessica:cry:. I love them and really want to see more of them.
Sam just needs to stay at Merlotte's and sometimes help Sookie out, not more.
Oh and I thought the whole story in Dallas and with Alcide was bad. It was way better in the book, they should have kept that story. The way they introduced Alcide was wrong. I loved Alcide so much in the book :(.
And that nurse/witch is annoying me, I'm not interested AT ALL, I fast forwarded almost all of his scenes :innocent:.

I think the doll is some kind of sad reminder that Jessica can't have children and, obviously, that they won't stay happy.

loved the entire season, but finale was lame. it should have ended with eric and russell lying out in the sun.
no cliff hangers left...

Nah the doll is a symbol of that crazy b**** ex girlfriend of hoyts, don't you remember her showing him her dolls? he was all :innocent:
And then him saying something to Jason about how annoying she is/the dolls are? :p

First I thought that the doll belongs to some ghost girl and the house will be haunted next season. But maybe is something else entirely.

i didn't like the season finale, if they continue with the crappy writing i'll probably stop watching it; i hope they find a way to bring back Franklyn, he was the best character this show has had (followed by Russell)

Methinks the gaudy tackiness is purely intentional. However the 89437589 different story lines are too much and none of them seem to have an ending.
