I wasnt sure where to post this but...
I heard Target Carries True Religion Jeans & Coach?
Can anyone confirm this?
I know Coach is suing Target for carrying fake Coach bags.
Has anyone spotted this at their local Target?

HECK NO!!! that sounds extremely suspect to me. I was hearing folks talk about mervyn's (which is owned by target) selling seven jeans....and i was like okay...I'll check it out...wen to the store to find they are Seven 7 jeans! I was like okay....the wanna be seven jeans!

YES! they do. my sister just informed me, as well as a fellow style concious classmate. can't freakin believe it. and they're retailing for like 50 dollars too

Thank god I no longer own True Religion...

Target just knocks everything off...Ive seen those fake Sevens on everyone, that's part of the reason Seven changed thier back pocket stitching to the A

LOL Everyone has stolen that little cursive line. I can just imagine the lame *** housewives buying these thinking they "fit just the same for half the price" Or those Target Spy Bags

Walmart's Spy is much worse...

Now they're getting wise on the new-look being back pockets without stitching...

i remember seeing fake true religion at a peruvian mall lol

LOL I never knew the fake denim business was so big. Has Anyone seen ppl on the streets wearing them that are obviously fake?

YES. In soho there are lots of street vendors with 2 for $50 True Religion, Seven, Antik, all those brands. They are so FAKE, the washes are what makes it so obvious, they're all the same wash, it's hilarious. I saw a fake twisted seam, it looked insane because it wrapped around like four times.

Marc, are you Peruvian?

oh sorry correction to my earlier post. i've got the details now.
Yes there are REAL true religion jeans being sold at target but they are retailing for $150 and are circa 2004. They have the true religion tags & stitiching and all of that it's just older, it would be really hard to believe that a huge corporation like Target would maneuver a scandal like that :)

well that's still odd. i didn't think target would sell $100+ jeans...that's not cool :(

Really what state is your Target in if you dont mind me asking? I have to see this can you post a picture?
True Religion Jeans are DEAD if this is true. Saks,Neiman,Nordstrom wont tolerate carrying the same line of merchandise as Target.
But something iffy about this since the whole Fendi/Sams Club Scandal & Coach/Target Scandal
That sucks because I just bought a pair at Saks

^ It also reminds me of how Saks dropped Luella after her Target line came out.

True Religion was dead, darling..

You're such a snob, I lOve it.

I never got TR anyway...they fit awful and always felt cheap and low-quality...but for these premium jeans to sell below retail is not uncommon...at off fifth, neiman marcus last call, cohoes, and marshalls, brands such as seven, coh, stitch, paige, tr, pdc and earnest sewn can go as low as $20!

LOL...I forgot all about little Luella she had so much promise then she sold her soul to Target an Tanked. Which was so fast I guess she wasnt making enough at Saks same with Issac I belive the Ready to Wear stuff isnt sold/made anymore now just Target,Haute Couture(stateside)an Shoes

Foxie..Id rather find a pair of Seven,Coh,etc at a Marshalls,Loehmans type store before Target they're is a difference. Those type are outlet type stores which every designer has. Target is just well Target I cant explain it but would you want Gucci if it came from a Off Fifth,Loehmans,Factory Outlet..Yes If it was Carried at Target...Hell No

Oh yes. I know, Luella isn't Karl or Issac, she can't make a lower-end line and get away with it...She had sooo much promise, now she's starting from scratch again, building her brand. I really wish she did menswear.

Foxie, True Religion's cut is spectacular, it makes your *** look impossibly high and impossibly tight...At least a mans. Thier quality leaves alot to be desired though, mine fell apart on me, I was sooooo not happy...

fell apart:shock:....wow that must be embarrasing...were you in public when that happen? I remember when Gwyneth's pink Gucci suede pants ripped on her when she went to a premier...I think I'd faint on the stop when that happens to me:lol:

No, thankfully. I was getting dressed to go out and was like "what is all this thread" then I traced it back to it's orgins, the bottom of my pants, I the whole pant leg came apart, I was fuming because I had them for like three months, I returned them the next day to Barneys...

True Religion has really crappy quality. They really do make your *** look incredible though.
