Devi Kroell for Target

I picked up the gold hobo. The bag is physically bigger than I expected. Yes, it feels like rubbery plastic--it's Target. It's stiff and the shape holds well. However, there isn't alot of space inside the bag.

This would of been great in a darker gold color like the shopper (which is HUGE).

I finally got a chance to check these out IRL at my local Target.

I think the quality is reasonable for its price.
The "scales" definitely look embossed and it was obvious that it wasn't made from leather, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be.

The tote is indeed huge, I found the hobo a lot more manageable.
I ordered some of the Devi Kroell pieces online due to a discount code, and got a tote and hobo for myself.

i visited my local target today and they only had ONE piece. the dark silvery colored clutch for 19.99.
i was really impressed with it. it felt a bit heavy.
im going to think about getting it. i think it would be nice for weddings or other similar social events...
my target still had all the rafe for target bags out.
i hope i get to see the hobos soon.

in the target specific version of lucky magazine they have a small story on the devi kroell bags and they feature a zip pouchette. i think this would make a great makeup bag!!

^Ah the clutch!
lucy, if I may play devil's advocate, I think the clutch is really worth buying.
My local Target had it in both anthracite and the dark gold (copper tone??) and I was personally toying with the idea of getting the anthracite.
It looks more classic and the dark gold was a little too bling for me, though it was cute too.
(But then dear hubby was with me and I was already checking out the Libertine stuff, so gonna be good.... Bless the soul who invented online shopping! :smartass:)

went to target yesterday. i got the gold hobo. here are pics i took of the ones they had on the floor.

gold hobo

the material isn't the best but as someone mentioned earlier, it doesn't scream cheap either. good deal for what they're charging i guess.

man, oh man. the shopper IS huge. the hobo is bigger than i was expecting too.

i bet you are going to get a lot of compliments on the gold hobo.

ok i found the bags and i dont think they are as bad as some have described on here. i was going to purchase the hobo but it is too small. i wish they made one in a larger size

damn that bag is huge! you could fit kids in that thing...much like living anacondas when they puruse through villages and some young children go missing...

i ended up getting a huge tote in anthracite...i can fit my gym stuff AND my laptop, that's how big it is! but useful

I thought the gold hobo was the best looking quality of the bunch. The shopper was so big that the lower quality showed more.

The bag looks very cute to me. I Don't understand all the critics, Its Target, quality isn't supposed to be the best, but it certainly looks more expensive than the price and thats the only thing I care about.

There are tons at the Target nearest me. I copped a feel, and they do indeed feel rubbery, but slightly enticing. Not the sort of thing you'd mistake for real python, of course, but unique in its own aspect. I wanted to give the goldtone hobo a rubdown, but the woman beside me was dominating too much of the display. :innocent:

I just checked these bags out and they are not as bad as some ppl described. I thought they were quite cute for the price so I picked up the light gold hobo and the gold tote (yes, it's huge but I plan to use as a diaper bag on some days, so it's ok)
Question - do u think the huge tote looks better in the light gold or the darker gold. They didn't have the light gold so I couldn't really compare but I see them online.
