^i can't view any of the pics .....
Did you try to right-click on the link and save the file? It won't work if you just click on it... :flower:

I also think it's nicer than expected, but I really want to see if it looks just as good in person.

They do look good, but I feel like I've sort of outgrown vinyl bags. So I'm not sure if I'd spend the money.

I really like these! I hope they look as good in person as they do online. I'm not ruling out the possibility that they'll look like ...plastic in the store. When is this supposed to come out again? July 15? I hope not.

It looks like it is July 15. Oh no! I won't be in the country then...I wonder if I can send a friend, or one of my sisters...or my dad.

the new june/july issue of teen vogue features one of the totes! it looks beautiful! the issue is the one with the starts of harry potter on the cover.

no worries halcyon, youll be able to buy them online and send them to a different address.

they look surprisingly good in the pics. i especially like the clutch ..arghh..looks like i'll have to hit the states sometime in july then.

:) I can't wait for these to come out. I haven't purchased a handbag in months and I think this may be what will end my ban:)

there's two pics of the totes in the new issue of nylon with the white stripes on the cover.

^ This is the Nylon feature that lucy92 was talking about :flower: :

much better than i would have expected...

just a heads up, there's a feature in the latest marie claire (with angelina jolie on the cover) on the devi kroell for target bags. it's one of those "shopping deconstructed" features where they take apart an item and explain why the bag costs as much (or in this case, as little) as it does. i wish i could scan it, but overall they say:

1. the handle is flat and fastened with a satin brass-finish rivet, while the original sports a round handle with a tube inside.

2. the zipper is nylon while the original is brass.

3. the vinyl "scales" are "debossed and dipped in metallic dye for a 3-d look" instead of being real python skin

4. the satin brass-finish magnetic snaps aren't brass like the original

5. the lining isn't silk, it's a synthetic poly-satin

6. it's machine-stitched, not hand-sewn

okay, that may be way too much info for you guys, but i found it interesting :)

great info :)

i have the main collection bags but am highly intrigued by the "copy" as i imagine it to be very hard to imitate her trademark python...
if only we had a target here :(

i think this collection is great! i think it will sell really well.
i also saw the marie claire feature. it was interesting.
the new issue of lucky magazine with vanessa minillo on the cover also has an editorial with models carrying the 50$ tote

Oh yay. July 15th. Just in time for me to grab one before I go the the Bahamas :)

wow, i really didnt like the pictures that were posted before, but the nylon pics sold me. i really like those bags. gonna have to see them in person though, fake leather can look so fake
