Trunk show TFS gathering, are you in?

i dont think you have to rsvp- do you caffine? i havent, and i might go- so you can still go
im not planning on ordering anything from the trunk show, i already pre-reserved what i wanted from bergdorfs (they are getting most of the looks!!), but its nice to go and see them, touch them- so you should come!!!

I don't think so either. We can just walk in. I'm not planning to order anything either but I'd love to see them on models (and look at the shoes closely!). Do you mind giving me a definite answer tomorrow? I plan to arrive at around 7pm. But if you are not going I might stay in office for work instead (yeah I actually enjoy it ). B)

Love this thread and I want to go to trunk shows in NYC. If anyone wants company I am down.

Well at Barneys at least they have models to show them. I found that nice. Also the crowd there is more fashion forward in general. I normally attend just to have a good time there. People watching is fun!

Their sales typically leave you alone. I actually like that. But you are right, some don't even seem to care about their jobs.

at what show did they have models?

i have been to several trunk shows at barney's and i have never seen a model...

There is a Balenciaga (FW 08?) trunk show at Barney's.



In NY, it's this Wednesday (March 12) and Thursday (March 13) 10 AM to 6 PM, Madison Ave, Penthouse 8F (212 826 8900 ex.2152)

And in Beverly Hills, it's Saturday (March 15) 10 AM - 6 PM and Monday (March 17) 10 AM - 5 PM, Second Floor, (310 276 4400 ex. 5588)


It's free, but reservations are required. I'm sure going!

The costumer service at the Barney's in SF is ace, at least from my experience. They're very eager to help, never pressure you into buying, and really friendly
