According to 96.7 KISS FM, the trailer for New Moon will be shown before the movie BandSlam. BandSlam releases in theaters on August 14 in the US.

^They could put together a trailer and then continue with the editing...
I found an answer to how long it takes for a film to be complete:

ishkabob @ answers.yahoo.com

I am an editor, so here tis: It depends on many many things; the shooting ratio, a hard release date, more than one editor...and on what you consider the start date: Editors edit while the film is being shot, so if principle photography is 3 months you have to add that in to post production schedules. After principle photography is complete, depending on the shooting ratio, an editor can usually have a first cut in 1 to 4 weeks. Then working with the director, another 1-3 months. (When we used to edit on film, it could be MUCH longer). That's to "locked reels", which means everyone considers the movie as good as it can get. Then it goes to the sound editors, but I'm assuming you just mean picture. Unfortunately, studios have cut post times way down, so there might be a hard release date that the filmmakers have to meet, so the time periods can be extremely short for post (always to the films detriment). The longest time I've ever been on a film is a little over a year. The shortest time was 3 months.

Breaking Dawn, the fourth installment of the Twilight series has gone from "optioned property" to "script," which means that Melissa Rosenberg is one busy lady.
For weeks, we've been speculating about whether this portion of the story of our favorite Twilight characters (one which many Twilight fans to be of more than mild importance) will be brought to the big screen.
It appears that crossed fingers can relax, now, though. Instead of being listed as "optioned property" on IMDb Pro, Breaking Dawn is now in "script," and "[p]lanning to start in late spring 2010."

I do want them to complete the series but I just don't know how they will make Breaking Dawn for the general public. It's got some weird sh*t in it.

^there's so much wrong in breaking dawn....
maybe they can get an inspiration for the "birth scene" from this one

they can even call chris hansen from " to catch a predator" for a special cameo on the "impriting" subject

^^^^OMG, that first gift is just....I don't have words to describe it:shock::lol:

^ LOL!

I'm still not sure that they should make BD as a movie... I'm just not sure how they would film it, unless it's going to be re-written, or have lots of parts left out. If they show the birth scene as it is in the book, then they really should do it as a full-on horror film type scene I think. Although, they'll probably want the film to be PG 13, so I'm not sure how that would work.

I think that they´ll only show Bella´s face (and then Jacob) and we´ll only hear ripping noises. Close shots and that´s it, a PG 13 movie
