I like the bday party scene very much but the wolf transformation... I thought it will be bigger. But I´m glad that so far it´s different than Twilight

I think they are going to over-do New Moon, so much better than Twilight, that the second movie will look like a movie from a complete new franchise.

Just look at it! The first one looked like a made-for-TV movie, the second one looks like a huge blockbuster - just from the trailer.

im so glad the blue color is gone, some parts in twilight i didn't mind it but as a whole movie it got annoying.

oh man this time last year i would have been jumping off my seat with that trailer. But my love has abated so i have only seen this trailer once. it was fine

i'm sorry but no matter how great that trailer was(which imo it wasnt) i can never take this books series and film seriously so if the trailer bring the "lol's"(which it did to me) then i will watch the movie. Especially after those pics of rob shirtless, the movie could be about a blob and i would still watch it

It is easy to see that the home-made quality of the first movie got replaced by a heavy dose of 'studio movie' look and appeal for the second pic. The colors are sharper and bolder, the scenes are more vivid, and the characters most certainly look like they have better make-up, wardrobe and hair. Mostly the vampires, which was a huge short-coming of the first movie, imo. I guess the studio saw the bigger potential but also the amount they have to spend to make the box office numbers soar even more.

As much as I love creativity, I must admit I mostly hate the hand-held 'indie' look of certain movies. When I see a movie, I want to be dazzled by the composition, colors and the level of professional photography. That said, you could see how serious the studio was when they had decided to re-audition Jacob and could even replace the actor with someone more substantial. I am sad that the franchise, as a whole, will look lame now though... too all over the place style wise.

the trailer is good though. Kristen said that they had just finished shooting. I wouldn't be surprised if they have created this trailer just for tonight from the scenes they could manage to complete and stitch together. I bet they are working furiously now to complete all the CGI and scoring to be able to release it in just 4 or 5 months.

agree 100% i'm only in on the twilight thing for rob. and i'm sorry, but i don't like the trailer and i'm even less excited about this now than i was before. it somehow looks even more like a typical teeny-movie than twilight, which is ok, since the books are very teen-movie-like, but i expected a little more. the make-up is still bad (seriously, rob is way too white in the forest scene) as well

BUT i like ashley/alice better, (and it was cute how her and kristen were standing together at the very end - on stage at the mtv ma's) and overall it looked better than twilight, but that was to be expected

oh, but i LOVED the fake new moon trailer...that was genious
