Oh dear, it looks like how Elle used to look in the 90's before their last redesign! This sort of harsh graphical edge is really not to my tastes at all. Victoria looks okay though, slightly less strained and forced in the face than she can appear usually...?

fashion designer, her child starred in a Burberry campaign, she's very attractive, her husband is a soccer player & has his own line of underwear with H&M, she's also British and was in a group called the Spice girls...i'm pretty sure she's very relevant at this time, and she also photographs well, maybe not in this case, but come on

This looks very weird, not a succes! It could have been, but those arms...

The arms thing doesn't bother me, because its clearly just her jacket slung on the shoulders, i like the hair, and the face make-up, strong eyebrows suit her, but the layout is almost dated, or perhaps what US Elle used to do? Anyhow i expected this to turn out way worse.

i agree, i personally don't find anything she's done exceptional or noteworthy but hey to each their own. her expression is awful but i like the fonts and texts layout

I actually really like it. We always see VB on covers or editorials as soft or pretty, and this is hard, edgy, cool. The resdesign looks great, I think - the colour ARE very 90s, and the design is akin to US ELLE, but it works. I love how the hot pink cover usage is reflected on her clothes, as well. My only issue is with her face - why did she have to pout! Silly lady.

I wonder what the subs cover looks like...!

Wow, I love it. It's so strong contrary to latest UK Elle covers. The texts are interesting. What I also wish is that they make the cover paper material a bit thicker. The current one is too thin and fragile.

^ Really? I usually buy only March or September issues, but i never noticed that before. In fact i got the last issue of French Elle last week, and i thought their edition has ridiculous paper quality, certainly worse quality it seemed.

I'm not gonna lie, I kind of love this.

I like the image of Victoria, It's so tacky that it's actually amazing.

Not to keen on the new design though. I think I might one of the only people who actually liked the ELLE UK deign just the way it was, I liked buying the odd cover to add to my collection, This looks less fashion and more OK!

Curious to see what they've done with the subscription covers, Hope those haven't changed to drastically, I was always drawn to their simplicity.

This is so bad. The photo is truly bad but than you look at the text and it gets worst.
I dont even know why they changed, if there wass something I liked about Elle UK was how clean the magazine looked.
This is too all over the place...
