It’s a great pic, but it’s too similar for a second cover. I can only recall one time Cosmo did two covers. Although it *was* a September issue (Vanessa Hudgens / Nina Dobrev).

Not understanding the relevance of 'love and legacy' with her, in particular.
This cover would've made more sense to me during the promo run of "The Substance".

But, you know, it's Cosmo, so there's less weight with covers like this.

I actually love that this gives off old school Cosmo vibes. It’s their 60th anniversary issue, so I was kinda hoping for someone who really screams Cosmo girl. No hate to Margaret though, she looks amazing and the shoot seems super fun. I guess I just expected more since it's a milestone issue. And omg, what are those cover lines? 😂 I thought just the cover was old school but those headlines are giving peak "men + love" era Cosmo. That’s when it hit me they really went all in on the throwback theme haha

I get your point and I don’t disagree entirely, but I think the press push for The Substance was very focused on Demi. That’s just a casual observation. I could be wrong.

Looks more like Francesco Scavullo to me. Regardless, it’s a great change from the covers of the past five years or so.

Love love love! Only complaint I have is with the styling; what's up with magazines these days repeating a look on multiple pages?? Makes it feel like there wasn't a budget for more outfits.
