US Elle September 2006: Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay on the cover, and what appears to be an editorial with JP?

is this a us elle?^^^^

in any case Lohan on cover = i'm not buying it

mags need to stop putting so much text...it doesn't catch your eye because you can't focus on one point

Elle Sep is cool^_^
I used to think there wasn`t so much fashion in ELLE magazine,
It didn`t have many editorials like Vogue or some high fashion magazines...

Does she have a movie coming out or something? Why in the world is she on magazine covers for no reason? Awful, awful, just awful.

Oh and I definitely agree with the fact that too much text is really unappealing and distracting.

lol, the cover looks very 90's. she is always pulling a kate moss-esque pose.

I think the cover looks fabulous. I'm sorry but I stay devoted to my fashion magazines, even if I don't like who's on the cover.

The cover looks really busy. Kinda hard to look at. The ed with the guy flipin and stuff looks really cool.

she looks like a baby prostitute.on acid.worst cover of all us magz of the year

Apparently, this is a snippet from the interview.

Report: Lindsay Lohan Wants to See Iraq
Aug 8, 12:37 PM EST

Apparently a bit tired of her party-girl image, Lindsay Lohan says she wants to go to Iraq with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and entertain American troops there.
"I've been trying to go to Iraq with Hillary Clinton for so long. Hillary was trying to work it out, but it seemed too dangerous," Lohan said in an interview in the September issue of Elle magazine, to be released Wednesday.
The 20-year old actress and pop singer said she hoped to emulate Marilyn Monroe, who performed shows for about 100,000 troops stationed in Korea in 1954.
"It's so amazing seeing that one woman just going somewhere, this beautiful sex kitten, who's basically a pinup, which is what I've always aspired to be," Lohan said, adding that she would prepare for her trip to Iraq by taking shooting lessons with her security guard.
A spokesman for the senator offered a slightly different take on Lohan's contact with the New York Democrat's office.
"It was suggested to her that if she wanted to go, she could pursue doing so through the USO," said spokesman Philippe Reines.
The USO is a nonprofit organization that provides entertainment to troops stationed abroad.

^ She seems more interested in going to gather attention for herself than to brighten the troops spirits.
Bad cover and even worse interview....

Lindsay, you can't make a snow angel against a backdrop dear. just saying :innocent:

Ummm...yeah. I'm still sticking by my love for the cover but hoping to emulate Marilyn Monroe. She could start by gaining 30 pounds and actually having a pretty voice.

Oh my god, I almost threw up a little when I read that snippet on her dreams of visiting Iraq. Oh-my-god.

On second thought, I encourage the notion of sending her to Baghdad (muhaha).

Go visit the troops? Haven't the poor soldiers been through enough...:(
