Not crazy about this cover but I'll give Elle some props for the purple hair color. I can't remember the last time a covergirl had haircolor that was an unnatural shade. That said, I love the irony of Katy's tagline, "I can't be the candy queen forever," when she's still dressed in what could be considered a "candy-colored" look.
