It seems steely determination, and the need to prove themselves in this fickle industry, is what tie these three together? This is where Joan's casting seems odd because she's had loads of opportunities even at the start of her career.

Joan's the best one, she looks radiant. I don't particularly care for Kate or Emily but I am excited for them and I'd choose them over another Drew/Kate/Gwyneth cover. Now if only Vogues would follow the lead and use more models...
