I like Beyoncé.
She is beautiful and charismatic so looks good anyway even if, one more time, those covers simply don’t work. It’s even quite embarrassing…

When I think about great HF moments in magazines with her, I think about her first cover of W magazine, wearing Balenciaga, her cover of V magazine by Testino, her Gentlewoman stuff and I think her US Vogue stuff was quite solid. I can also think of a CR photo of her wearing Prada..

With Beyonce, simplicity is always perfect. I would have preferred to see her in key looks from the FW2021.
The problem is that editors tries to follow the aesthetic of her projects…But it always feels flat compared to what her team does with her.

Edward failed and this time again, another fail.

But I like her IVY Park line. It’s great workout/stay in a house clothes. It’s unpretentious and some pieces are quite good.

I don’t know if jeans chaps are needed but so far, this is the first celebrity line I own pieces from.

well Black is King was her own work that she directed and produced, this seems like a collaboration to promote her new collection but most likely styled / photographed by someone outside of her creative team.

This new wave of fashion photographers just seems to be getting worse and worse. Some whose cameras need to be taken off them. Forcibly! Tierney Gearon, Hill & Aubrey, and most certainly Campbell Addy who actually books a lot of celebrity jobs!
