US Harper's Bazaar October 2019 : Demi Moore by Mariano Vivanco

Serving crazy eyes. Demi's cover comeback deserved to be better than this dated mess of an image.

HA HA HA HA.
That is all I can say at the moment because surely this has to be a joke?

Demi Moore used to be the biggest star in the world, and now this.

do they photoshopped the background? that looks so fake and even FHM and Playboy and Maxim are way better than this

What, no other actress wants to cover Bazaar? It's time, Glenda.

When you consider how iconic - and I'm not one to use that word lightly - Demi's naked-and-pregnant cover for Vanity Fair was, this just seems like a sad postscript to everything she's done.

While she's never been seen as the height of sophistication, there was always a sense of rebellion about the things she chose to do. And while she might not be making blockbuster movies anymore, she's still a famous Hollywood star. But in this cover story, she might as well be any of the women from the Real Housewives series.

Tatler has been fashion direction than this. What an absolute mess. Obnoxiously vulgar and extremely lazy.

Glenda is exactly the reason why Vogue gets away with its mediocrity

When they go low, we go lower

It looks like Harper's Bazaar has teamed up with Playboy.
No, because if this was Playboy it would actually be a competent cover. Don't think Playboy is bad, simply because they produce content that is for the enjoyment of men. Their photographers are usually quite good, and their content is far better artistically than something Harper's Bazaar has been able to put out all year imo.

What's going on with this Glenda woman? how is possible that she did;t even demand a reshoot for this....Miguel enamorado was on Interview...and now do this???
crazy....

It's incredible to me how Glenda can get away with such tacky covers month after month. And I'm actually quite surprised that Demi Moore would agree to such a pose to plug her memoir considering the sensitive subject of sexual abuse discussed in the book. At the very least this should've been approached with a bit more sensitivity.

Maybe until about 2000, because after that it was basically cheesy softcore p*rn. And I'm not saying that because of the nudity. It's the corny poses and Page 3-looking cover models. Social politics and innuendo aside, do you suppose this could qualify as good or artistically tolerable?

There is no Playboy edition in the UK and most of the other lads mags have been purged, but I do on occasion spot international editions and they're all basically like US Harper's Bazaar, with a heavy dose of testosterone.

Aside from this instance the previous issues have been pretty good ever since they did their re-design. Christopher von Steinbach did wonders for Playboy.
