Unfortunately with Jennifer, you have to either have to stick with her signature style or go the complete opposite. That's why the second cover works. That's pretty much her personal style. The first cover isn't good at all and that's due to the styling.

Also, why does look like she's wearing a scuba suit underneath that jumper?

It's sad to see Jennifer stuck on the covers of InStyle and such, I would love to see her back on Vogue for the release of The Morning Show's second season.

The first cover should never have seen the light of day.
The second one is great, and the only one anyone should ever see.
She's not a great beauty, and is about as bland as oat milk, but she's managed to strike a chord with so many people, or decades.
Kudos to her, because it's been lucrative. She should have been on September cover of VF.
