we are all aware that nati, carm & KK are featured & rated as the #1, 2 & 3 girls in the story, with nati called "the #1" girl of the moment & carm & KK both described as their careers winding down, despite the 5 [?] year difference in their ages. also go to page 26 for a cute rear view of the cover on the contents page, again nati, carm & KK seen as the 3 most famous members of this cast.

Is that an insult to Karolina? Sorry hun, but she is the most recognizable, famous model in this bunch. Could possibly be making the most money as well. And she has been model for around six years, and she wants out of the business to start a new life.

but as far as the further hierarchy, models #4-9 in the story, the 'pecking order' that peretz describes, and imagining the future positions/success of the remaining 6 girls, you have to go to page 226-227- the full hierarchy of these girls is explicated, and euguenia is definitely placed ahead of hana & marija,
as much as I might love marija & others want to think that hana is #4 in the story, shes not, its euguenia: - look at their positions in the line up, its in the picture left to right:

1. nati
2. carmen
3. kk
4. euguenia
5. hana
6. marija
7. poly
8. valentina
9. inguna

its illustrated by their placement in the opening pages of the story.

and imo, if one is truly rating the current to- later-2005 successes of these girls, really, valentina, poly & even marija are at least equal to euguenia & hana, or I would argue, they have surpassed everyone except nati- really in march 2005, poly & valentina are the hottest girls, along with nati, with marija, euguenia, carmen & hana after.

so you see the pecking order is ILLUSTRATED on 226/27, even more plainly than a reading of the text.

Isn't Hana listed before Eugenia?

The author thinks Hana will be the next KK or "supermodel" and this is entirely possible. Eugenia is the more established on out of the lesser known models and said to have more "financial security" then the rest of the models. But she has been modeling for about four years, right? Also, the author thinks she will have a long career.

As with anything, belief about who the top models are is subjective. Many people have their own opinions. Certain magazines claim one model to be the "model of the moment" while another magazine does so with a different model.

Although I wouldn't think Nat is anymore, because she really has been lacking exposure except for the CK ads. Natasha Poly is rising, and girls like Eugenia and Hana are still getting lots of covering and continuing to grow. Valentina is getting huge press as well because of the Ralph Lauren ads.

look at the picture & read the article. euguenia is shown and described before hana. - #4. the photo on the opebning 2-pager illustrates the article.
peretz makes several guesses but she actually says that marija is the next to join nati & carmen & I agree.

your perception that KK is the most famous is incorrect.
natalia is so much more successful than kk its no comparison.
KK at best had a few average campaigns like kors & TH.
nati in 2-3 years has made more money & gotten tons better edits than kk ever did.
for some reason the general public has some idea that KK is some superstar girl but its all hype like that BS VHI award that anna wintour gave her. and if KK is so great why is her career winding down at '21' as that article says?
valentina is 22 and shes MUCH hotter than kk now.
