That's indeniably better than her previous Vogue cover, even though it falls a little flat. Charlize is very conventionally pretty, so you really have to push boundaries to get a strong cover from her, and they failed to do so. I also regret they chose the "Christmas in St Barth" route... I'd have loved to see something like Anne Hathaway's November '10 cover.

I like model-turned-actress Charlize Theron's ed particularly the scenery and Annie Leibovitz's photography, the dresses are beautiful but they seem to be the typical beautiful dresses from the current collections that would fit the theme. What is interesting to me is that Charlize is a good clotheshanger model in the ed with a little bit of stuntperson thrown in, there is no personality shown - I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing, just interesting.

OMG WOWWWW Such a visual orgasm lol! Spectacular job, one of the 10th most beautiful VOGUE covers in history all international editions included!!! This, is perfection at its best, I'm really really thrilled with those images, I meannnnnnn lol LOOK AT THESE!!! It's insane Chalize looks like a siren, a sexy sultry woman who's coming out of the water, it's effortless and breathtaking. The styling is a killer! Make-up, hair, lighting, photography, poses, it's... ICONIC!!!

can't wait to see the other eds, but i'm sold with the main ed alone.
this really has been the year of Anna and Vogue US, no wonder Vogue was the only fashion magazine with positive news from ads sales.

The Charlize editorial looks a lot like the Rooney Mara editorial from the previous issue with the standing against the rocks and Ophelia-type vibe.
