I mean, who's featured with an article in Vogue just because they change their haircolour? Only Coco darling.
Well, Vogue does like to feature models that make dramatic changes (ie Kirsty Hume and Carmen Kass chopping their long locks). And they did have a feature about how blonde models were all the rage a few years ago. So this Coco feature is pretty standard.
As for the rest of the issue, I was heartbroken to see such a hideous cover image. I saw Anne's name in the thread title and was beside myself with excitement (someone new!), but no matter how many times I look at the picture I can't seem to like it. I tried Anne, I really tried, lol.
The first picture out of her editorial is drop dead gorgeous. I'm shocked that it wasn't used for the cover. It would have been perfectly 'Vogue', so I'm a bit confused with their choice. Meanwhile, Testino's work surprises me. I love his usual work but these images feel different... in a very good way.
Anyway, regardless of my disappointment with the cover, I am very excited about the contents!
