US Vogue July 2012 : Emma Stone by Mario Testino

She's about a year overdue for a cover. Next up-- I hope-- are Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain.

I second Jennifer and Jessica! Both would make fantastic cover stars. Though if they do put Jennifer on the cover I suspect they will wait till the next Hunger Games movie is out. I think it's so refreshing to see someone like Emma Stone on the cover, I don't think anyone in Hollywood has a bad thing to say about her. Plus she's the sort of person who other women feel like they can relate too, unlike a lot of people who grace the pages of fashion magazines.

so not used to see the absence of the banner!
but this is indeed beautiful, worth of a wait!

Such a fresh and beautiful cover !! Perfect for summer even thought ther word fall written in capital letters.
I agree that she completely deserves a cover and I like the result. Maybe she's a bit too airbrushed making her look almost like a doll; but her eyes, the easy but classy pose, the great outifit and the cute hairstyle make up for it.

"From Funny Girl to Spider-Man's Leading Lady" Great, downgraded to just a love interest.

This is really cheap. I don't know how they did it but they managed to make Emma Stone look cheap with the bad styling, bad hair and terrible pose. This has got to be one of the worst US Vogue covers I have ever seen. Poor Emma!

I'm on the fence with this one. Happy for Emma and she looks nice enough, but there is nothing at all remarkable about it. It might look a whole lot better with a clearer image and I'm sure it won't be her last Vogue US cover either.
Not sure about the Nina Ricci dress either, which looks way too much like lingerie.

I'm loving the color scheme or is it just because of Instagram? On to Emma herself, I think she looks beautiful here. She looks sensual and delicate in my own opinion. Although before, I was hoping that she would have red hair when she lands a cover of US Vogue. But this turned out to be pretty great.

I love this after last months cover. She looks lovely.
Can't wait to see what's inside.

Love Emma's eyes, love the pose, love the jacket but I do not like the lingerie-ish camisole top.

Meh it's not that good. Her facial expression is weird and I don't like the outfit they chose, looks like a baby dollesque pijama. Maybe the editorial is going to change my mind but right now, what I only like is that's her. I love the way in which she acts and her personality. I also want Jessica Chastain to get a cover, she photographs very well.

I love it! I love Emma, I love Nina Ricci, I love the cover and I love Anna! This is one of the best covers so far. Damn, her stare had the "buy me or else" stare. I lov it. Hopibg for a better quality though because the Instagram filters are ruining it for me.

gosh noooo... And I'm usually a US Vogue defender but this pff loool this is bad! It looks fake to death and this girl is sooo boring/uninteresting and I don't get the appeal whatsoever, not pleased with this cover at all. Let's wait for the editorials...

:huh: I don't think we've seen the same Emma Stone. She's one of the few women in Hollywood with an actual personality.

My only concern is that she looks very scared or intimidated in the eyes. But, I do love the hair and the pose

Emma looks self-conscious and she's not really workin the whole look; the hair is too non-commital and awkward; like they found a decent wig but couldn't quite tousle out or make believable. the image as a whole looks like something from a bland not quite sexy not super conventional clothing catalogue. there's nothing about her or the cover image that grabs me and says buy me pronto! altho that green background color is lovely ^_^

She looks gorgeous. Not exactly like herself, but gorgeous nonetheless. The colors are nice but this definitely feels more like a spring cover. Maybe this and the J.Lo cover should have switched places.

Agreed. It's a little bit overphotoshopped but still gorg.

emma looks absolutely stunning, look at those eyes! only thing i'm not sure about is the styling but can't wait for her ed.

I sort of like it, but I'm going to wait until we get an HQ to decide.

I can't believe that Vogue's put 5 celebrities who haven't had a previous cover on the cover this year and that the other 2 celebrities who got covers only had one cover 5 or so years ago.
