US Vogue November 2009 : Marion, Penelope, Nicole and Kate by Annie Leibovitz

When Anna Wintour likes of a model she does everything she can to get her through our eyes, Caroline Trentini, Coco Rocha, Raquel Zimmerman, Jessica Stam and so on. This time she's not gonna make it, Karlie Kloss is just plain ugly and boring, to see her on a runway or in four spreads in Vogue it's just painful.

it's always kind of surprising to stumble upon comments like this one. what is it, an earthquake or something? come on, guys, it's Vogue, not a Nobel prize winners announcement. why so much anger? Ms. Kloss is just a fashion model and even if she's young, the girl can get some respect. not that comments about someone's ugliness could make a person feel better. i am sorry, but this is just too ridiculous.

I wonder how Caroline Trentini feels about Karlie replacing her as US Vogue's resident jumper.

Will attractive models ever come back into favor for editorials? There are plenty on the runway but editorials seem to be overrun with the "plain" and in a lot of cases simply unattractive girls.

It's all so subjective. What you find plain and unattractive, other people find attractive and interesting, and vice versa.

OMG! How polemic my comment has turned. I have no frustration feelings with K.Kloss being the new "star" at Vogue USA. I'm very conscious of how unregular and mediocre this magazine is at the time of picking models to their editorials so it's not surprising at all, and neither I think it's ridicule to tell my point of view about Kloss, some can be subtle and less hard at the time to describe her but personally I think it's a plane and ugly girl as a model, if someone doesn't like it... don't read and that's it.
I say again, it's nothing personal against her... just a thought about a model that in pictures is insuffrable and in the runway, totally out of place.:innocent:
