US Vogue September 2010 : Halle Berry by Mario Testino

Lara Stone - even more beautiful when eyebrows are involved. I wish I could see her styled like that more often, they really do make a difference. It doesn't always have to be about a feral scowl and bare flesh, some days there is room for thoughtful softness, and when such moments come around, I fall in love with her again.

Who the heck reads a book on the grass in a outfit like that? Either way, I love her spread in this issue!

Wow, I may buy this. They have more black models in this particular issue than I think I've ever seen: Naomi, Liya, Jourdan, Chanel, Joan, Rose and Arlenis. :woot:

There I was thinking that Lara's Vogue Paris September 2009 editorial was her softest ever... The first shot is absolutely precious and I especially love how Grace incorporated the engagement ring without making it too obvious.

Sweater Girl has got to be one of US Vogue`s best editorials to date. I love the styling, the mood, Lara and all. It`s so flawless and perfect.

Andy`s editorial spread is hot! Don`t know him though

Sweater Girl is pure ! Love the styling, the mood and the muted colors!

I am so hyped for some of the eds. Couldn't care less about Halle. She bores me. Cannot wait to see more of Charlotte Casiraghi in this issue! She is absolutely gorgeous and it was about time a Vogue would do something with her.

Can't wait to see Lara and Coco in their wedding dresses. Lara's dress was a masterpiece. And Sweater Girl is really beautiful.

Me too!!

Lara's editorial looks like something from W magazine, but I love it, it's beautiful.
I don't get what's the point of the "On the Town" editorial, Isabeli's ed doesn't appeal to me.

I think that Anna and Company should be commended for the model / celeb casting - this is one of the most diverse issues of US Vogue in recent memory (and for that fact other US and international fashion mags*) and to their credit all the people of color weren't relegated to the cover story and the We Are The World ed. In addition to the above you have Halle Berry on the cover and in one of the main eds, I think Tao and Liu are in this issue and as someone else mentioned Lais Ribiero along with fellow Brazilians Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. Additionally there were other fashionable celebs of color like Pharrell Williams and Usher.

*It seems like Vogue Russia, Vogue China and at times Vogue Germany do a decent job when it comes to showing a diverse group of models on their pages.
