V Magazine #118 Spring 2019 : Lady Gaga by Jean-Paul Goude

I don’t get why everyone is treating this like an acting Oscar. It was the Oscar for Best Original Song. There’s a big difference.
Lol you must be that kind of person who wants to present technical Oscars during commercial breaks. Besides, even in the acting category, Gaga have an actress nod and Madonna only have Razzie, there's a big difference.

Why drag Madonna into this?
Ask @Morgane07

What is so surprising in comparing pop stars in a forum of all places? It really isn't that serious, trust me, it was just a harmless comment. I didn't think stans would get in their feeelings.

This discussion is getting silly.
Who won best song at the Academy Awards in 2003?
I don't remember either.
Honestly, the only people who really care about awards are the ones who receive them.
It's all pr, lobbying, and insider bs. It's not talent or who deserves the award.
Answer: Eminem [aka: Marshall Mathers] won for Best Original Song for "Lose Yourself" from the film "8 Mile" at the Academy Awards in 2003?
Yeah, that Eminem has an Oscar.

I am so sick and tired of all this GaGa vs. Madonna discussions or the hating on GaGa in general. Both are talented woman who have achieved a lot in their careers and will be remembered for a long time to come.
In fact, I find it quite bizarre to think people who love Madonna's music dislike GaGa's and vice versa. Their music is not that different, is it? I love them both and think we should all be a bit nicer to each other.

Going back on topic and the covers, I am quite excited to see this side of GaGa again. It has been a while.

This is forum in a nutshell! Madonna is too old, Gaga is too attention-seeking, Katy Perry is so dated, Sienna Miller is so basic, Rihanna is so overexposed, Kristen Stewart can’t emote, Alicia Vikander looks like an average person... and so on.
There will be no person for who every person will be like “Yas, love it, amazing”.

I just got my issue. The Chanel ad that folds out from the cover is gorgeous. It’s on such thick stock and I love it! Almost worth ruining the cover to have the ad on my wall.

Review:
Of course there’s the cover story, which you’ve seen all of here
