Valentino F/W 07.08 : Daria, Gemma, Hilary, and Oriol

If they're Mert & Marcus, I'll be very surprised. Pleasantly surprised, because they've become a bit 'one-track' in their style, but somehow I doubt that this is their handiwork. The superglam theme fits them, but there's just too much texture. Is it possible they've eased off the airbrushing? If it is them, I'm their number one fan again.

:buzz: *faints*

I LOVE this ! the dreamy casting, hair, make up, styling, mood, airbrushing... brilliant ads, by far my favourite of the season and one of my favourite campaign ever  there isn't one single bad shot :buzz:
did i mention hilary gemma and daria look absolutely wonderful ? :buzz:

liked much speciality the double photo with the red dress fantastic campaign, but remember the efect to muchh Helmut Newton style and rememberme to Givenchy SS2004 with Liv Tyler, Sebastian Andreu by Mario Testino.

I definitely think Gemma is wrong for this. She's definitely overshadowed by the other two.

And dare I say, even Daria is kind of overshadowed by Hilary's gorgeousness.

I think they're all equally incredible and gemma looks absolutely fantastic all "glammed up"... though i must admit hilary's the model i like best at the moment, i can't decide which girl outdoes the other two in this campaign

OMG AMAZING Love the sunglasses one :woot: Love the shadow effect.

It could be Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello? But Mert & Marcus seems more likely to me.

I love this. Who shot it...Mario Testino? Nathaniel Goldberg?

In onre of the photos with the red dresses, Hilary transforms herself into this 80's Stephanie Seymour of a woman. This is one great ad all in all.

I was never really keen about Hilary, but in my humble opinion she looks the best here. She exudes that classic vibe which blends well with the ads.

am i the only one who finds this a bit trashy? let's just ignore how tiresome and lazy the whole dark moody room light shining through venetians motif is, it's just kind of awkward in most of the shots, who ever did this has obviously never heard of such things as restraint or subtlety, i mean the loud brassy textures, the blindingly bright colours, the aggressive poses, the dramatic makeup, the whole lesbian vibe, and the seedy setting, its just too much and ends up looking kitsch and rather cheap....not unlike his collections...
has anybody else noticed that he digs up this whole aggressive sexually ambiguous femme fatale thing every few season or so? like f/w 2004 and f/w 2001 with that equally subversive but a whole lot less overt campaign with Karolina and Caroline R?(one of the best valentino campaigns ever) it's slightly weird and kind of awesome how he's like obsessed with lipstick lesbians...
