Those photoshoot pictures are gorgeous. That's one of my favorite looks from her. The make-up is fantastic!

I was looking at the beginning of this thread, and I noticed that from 2005-2007, her nails were always done like French Tip, but the tip was always some random color as was the rest of her nail: like orange w/ black, white w/ turquoise, pink w/ orange.

She probably thought she was setting a trend but it looks horrendous.

She was 17 in 2005. There are plenty of 17 year olds who experiment but still look chic. I'm just saying that she's always been tacky. You can experiment but still be chic, but she wasn't.

This isn't a personal attack on Vanessa, but she always over accessorizes and over-works looks and trends.

Like the outfit at TRL: oversize blazer, big statement necklace, and the knee-highs. As Tim Gunn would say, that's a lot of look.

I think she dresses pretty good for her age.. she doesnt take it too seriously and shes at the age where she can experiment and get away with wearing over the top outfits.

I think everyone's going to have their own opinions, and that's fine. I, personally, think she has a fun sense of style. You can see her wearing trendy stuff, but it's pretty easy to decode what her personal style's really about. She's young, so i believe it's the perfect time for her to experiment and try whatever she feels like trying fashion-wise.
