On 'Tyra Banks show' Tyra asked Vanessa about her ethnic background, and she said that her mom is a Philippian, her dad - Caucasian, but she's also Chinese, Spanish, American Indian and Irish. So, yeah, not really a typical American.

Well it's not like anyone can be original anymore. Everyone copys people, nobody owns a certain style or look.

^ Thats not true. Style can be original even if the same 2 people were to wear the same dress or shoes etc. It's how you wear them, pair them with other pieces and carry them off.
