Vanity Fair March 2017 : Emma Watson by Tim Walker

Incredible boring cover. There´s something wrong with your image when the layout is the only interesting thing

I always enjoy reading what Emma has to say. She's an intelligent young woman who carries herself with dignity and self-respect.

The photos are also beautiful! I think she works fabulously with Walker's aesthetic. Excited to see this in person and read the interview.

Their Twitter and site say this is actually the March issue!! VF is so annoying with the special edition issues they do now!!!

Emma might not be a controversial celeb, but i would rather read about what she has to say than pretty much 70% of actresses out there! And VF pushed it a bit with her, that one shot where she is topless? I don't remember her ever doing a shoot like that. Not that it was necessary!

She's a garbage actress, so I don't know why anyone would expect her to excel in a Walker photoshoot :ninja:

I have a soft sport for her despite her lack of acting talents, seems to be down-to-earth and intelligent.

I just finished reading the interview on Vanity Fair's website and I think it's a well rounded and interesting read. The article touches on all aspects of Emma's life and it definitely reiterates the idea that Emma uses her brain to reflect on her choices and actions, and to think before she speaks.

While I am yet to be convinced of her acting as of late (Her performances in The Philosopher's Stone and The Chamber of Secrets from the HP franchise are still my favourites from her) there is so much I admire about her- from her personality and her attitude in always wanting to be a better person for herself, and for those and the causes that matter to her (wow I really have a girl crush on her :blush:), I just don't think you can fake that for so long, especially when you're in the public eye all the time.

I think the shots in the editorial are wonderful in that they really show off the clothes and Emma's beauty (look at that bone structure!) but on the flip side it doesn't look as if Emma had fully settled into the clothes before the shot was taken, and because of that, it feels like the clothes are wearing her rather than it being vice versa. To finish on a positive note though, she's definitely trying (kudos to her for clearly stepping out of her comfort zone to wear that Burberry look!)

Yes, should be the March style issue, you can tell by all the fashion coverlines.

I actually thought they secretly did away with one issue, but they didn't. I still count 12 issue in my 2016 collection. The Hollywood issue doesn't have a 'month', and the 'summer' issue stretches over June/July.

Well the cover is bad but the ed looks great. Not sure why they chose such a boring shot when I'm sure they had so many more interesting options with Tim's work. Also I'll give a pass on the weird hairstyle they chose for Emma.

she's wearing Oscar De La Renta Spring 2017 (Such a weird choice) on the cover.

So rude...garbage? Smh

Emma Watson is one of the most dull and uninteresting celebrities on the planet.

Glad I'm not alone in thinking this. I've never understood the hype around her. And I personally feel very uncomfortable seeing her play Belle next to the "beast". She appears so young next to him that it seems wrong to me for some reason

Wow some TFS members are really harsh, trying to attack a nice person isn't called a honest review either...
