Versace S/S 2026 Milan

Wow he did even worse than Ancora LOL
Guinness World Record for the worst designer debut EVER. Even Walter Chiapponi at Blumarine did better.
Unwatchable collection, not a single decent item in sight. Terrible accessories too.

its like everything was assembled 2 days before the show with everyone's eyes closed and at a gunpoint. horrible

Looking at it again, I like the short shorts mens looks. Quite Prada 2016.
Maybe it will grow on me more later. He really went out there, some didn't land but some could actually work.
Only if it had the right setting. I don't like it when a creative director doesn't think about his/her debut as an experience.
All the visuals and attitudes in the communication prior gave us so much attitude and fierceness.
We ended up with girls and boys trying to be fierce in an old palazzo. All the first things we see first are from some random IG account. Music sounded bad, lighting is not good. Clothes this bold need the right setting and a mile long runway with the best walkers in the business could have helped give us a bit more than this. I wasn't there and I felt uncomfortable. We can learn something from the Boss show yesterday.

So there was a show after all?

Christ Almighty...this is one of the worst shows I've seen in a long time, and that's even with a low bar set for fashion nowadays. Even the models look like they can't hide their distaste, and then to add insult to injury most of the girls can't get down the staircase in those d*mn shoes .

Forget Fendace, this is Prasace and having seen the latest Prada collection, Miuccia is in no position to think she can be influencing other brands at the moment, even if they are under her company now! Is Jacob K still styling? It's got that awful colour blocking that seems to plague most of his recent work.

So many thoughts. So much ugly. Let me stop talking and close the tab right now .

I wouldn't be surprised if he stays because this feels like Versace through a Miu Miu lens.

Even the flowery and intense invitation letter sounds made to please more someone like Miuccia than any potencial Versace customer.

I don't know. Still trying to understand what I saw.

The most insulting part of this is the utter lack of *design*. There's just nothing here—it's at best a clever exercise in styling, at worst a pastiche of the 80s. Apart from the prints, everything here could have been sourced as vintage & then assembled as a "collection."

Ahhh, the return of nuthugger trousers on the runway. Haven’t seen that since the glory days of Tom’s Gucci & Dsquared back in 2004. Let’s keep it there.

I’m enjoying the commentary here, a lot. Keep it up, TFS..:flower:
