Vertiginous Platforms F/W 06.07 & S/S 07

I tried on the balenciaga platform boots at Aloha Rag this week- they are CRAZY! I love them... but I doubt I'll get them, I dont think they are very realistic in terms of my actually wearing them, I'd probably just put them on a shelf and stare at them like art. They're beautiful in person.

I have always loved platforms and I'm so glad they're back! I've alread bought two pairs of pumps--one Mary Jane style and another sort of covered pump. I also got a killer pair of black ankle boots.

Pilati loves platforms, we've seen it for three seasons now starting with the dadas (love!) to the modern times shoes and now the ss07. His platforms are sexy but still edgy, while the Versace ones above are just way too over the top.

The Miu Miu baroque heels are amazing!

well plaforms shoes with spikes looks hookerish and plus they break very easily , my cousin had 2 pairs ( lanvin and laboutin btw), the ones like versace last forever , since they are more sturdy . I like stilletoes usually and have hated chunky platfroms a la 1974 but the way versace has done it and made platforms sexy , knock offs of those come spring 2007. stilletoes sadly looks liike are going to die a horrible death next year , stomped to death ..oh and those lanvin shoes are ugly...looks like a screw driver ( the heel) . I want those versace ones.
