Victoria Beckham S/S 2014 New York

some of these reminded me of Balenciaga for some reason; I liked it, obviously nothing special but I liked it over all

this is a bit of a let down after last season, i think the pleating and frills are kind of "over" but i really like some of the white and grey pieces

I can't imagine many women want to wear that girlish frilly silhouette that is happening in half of the looks. I like when she does a more sleek and womanly vibe that echoes her personal style.

Boring, too girly, no sizzle, not special enough to spend my money on, a pity, I expected more. I agree with HeatherAnne.

what a miss, she seems to have got lost I can not find her identity in this collection anymore

Her best collection imo, so great she is moving forward, and not just putting out fitted dresses. Sophisticated, modern elegance and so easy to wear! All the pink accents were impressive, and the geometric pattern is a nice touch. The side skirt slash with a sight of pleats was brilliant. And some nice different volume/shapes in here.

Do not appreciate the Bermuda shorts though.

loved it - i just had a problem with the addition of color , she should have left it monochromatic

I LOVE:
I love the geometric patterns and also the peekaboo pleats.
I can see the short dresses on a lot of starlets this coming summer. They're cute but not too girly, just a little bit. It's like a fun summer dress that is still a bit serious.

NOT INTO:
The cropped clamdigger looks. However, it looked good on Victoria at the end of the show.

The triangular pattern is very similar to Issey Miyake´s bao-bao bags...

It´s a cool, young and so wearable collection- but you have to have the legs for it.
But i really like all the short dresses, the last part is my fav.

"Shape," Victoria Beckham pronounced before her show. When she launched her label five years ago, she was interested in the form of the body underneath the fabric, and presented dresses constructed to best highlight it. Clothes have been moving away from the body for the last couple of seasons. Beckham's early history as a designer makes her an unlikely proponent of the new look, but she made a believable case for herself today with rounded jackets; ruffle-hem, A-line tunics; and full, cropped trousers that were clean and sharp. The midi-skirts she did last season were replaced by apron minis, the diagonal hem on top revealing a spray of pleats below. Leggy!

If "cling" was her mantra way back when, now "crisp" is a more apt description. The collection was super-graphic and sporty—mostly black, white, and icy gray, with shots of fuchsia and brick red. Visual interest came courtesy of double-crepe triangles bonded to the organza base of button-downs and sleeveless tops. Elsewhere, she embellished a short-sleeve shirt with large overlapping rectangles of color. There were body-conscious harness dresses in the mix. They'll be snapped up by her fans. But it was the boyish tailoring of the cropped pants and the boxy tunics and vests that pushed the Victoria Beckham story forward.
