With different hair and a different clutch that dress would have worked. Personally, though, I think the bangs are quite charming with casual looks, but just out of place with dressier ones.

Contrary to popular opinion, I love her latest look. I think the bangs give the ensemble a sort of girlish charm that a more formal updo just couldn't provide. Her clutch and ring are perfectly minimal yet realtively ornate accessories, a look to which I definitely subscribe, if only in theory, since my annual clothing budget is quite paltry compared to hers.

for anyone interested, there are new pics of Victoria comming out of Spider with Ashley O. You can only see her face, the bottom of her skirt/dress and her shoes (the Balenciaga heels the Olsens have been wearing the last few weeks,in navy I believe.). I didn't post it cause you can really barely see her, but it is in the Olsen thread.

^I checked and it really is a tiny picture of her. All you can see are her bangs and face, basically. You can't see what she is wearing at all, except maybe some grey shawl-type thing. Good eye, MJ, for noticing her in the background, though. I would have never seen that.

Yuck, I've been so disappointed in her look lately! That hair is so unflattering! She'd look great in a less severe style, maybe with sideswept bangs. She isn't looking as fresh as she used to!
