dreamecho, the crowds were pretty bad...the lines went way back and the resellers were out in full force. i was so annoyed with the whole shopping process that i didnt buy anything non stella at H&M until 8 months later...

hopefully they will get more than one shipment, like the NY stores did.
and you can always check back for returns, like i did.

Thanks lucy! I probably won't be going...it's not worth it to me. Dealing with REGULAR crowds at H&M on weekends is bad enough.

But we'll see. I may just change my mind.

u know im so bad, im not too "crazy" for this collection...just want the oxford shoes (if they have it for sale), the beige trench (gotta see it in person also), the white puffer (again gotta see it in person). BUT i just like to go cuz of the "hype" i think im going to sit my a$$ down and just see if there's any returns LOL...

anyone feel the same way as me, gotta go there or u'll feel left out...=X

I'll check the website to see if they'll be selling the black dress online, the one with the heart-neckline. I didn't see too many pieces worth standing in line for, well none actually.

i actually went to the NY and Boston stores in the same day last year.

in NY later in the evening, i went to the H&M near macys and there was a group of about 20 women waiting in the store for possible returns just hanging out...when i walked by the same store in the early am the next day there was a sign saying they would be restocking and to check back later in the day.

and dont forget you can probably tell the SA's to take the stuff off the mannequins if everything else is sold out. last year, at the store in NY people were ripping the clothes off of them apparently.

i think that the scene is going to much worse at pasadena and san francisco...there a lot of people were just camping out for 24+ hours on end just for a regular H&M store opening in pasadena last week.

nooooo i cant get into a h&m until saturday!!!! do you think the menswear in leeds will sell that quick?? oh it will im not going to be able to get any of it...

If you wait a week or two the hype will die down and they will stock up again.

im HOPING that in leeds, it wont be too popular, and i dont think it will, and obviously the menswear will be less popular than the womenswear, so thats a good point, and secondly, i dont think many people are too crazy about viktor&rolf...thirdly im only going 2 days after its launched....fouthly im sure somenoe could have brought soemthing back by saturday...fithly, i dont think many people will buy the vest and pants, which are the things i want most ...sixthly they will restock...

i heard that the sales people in h&m cant reserve the v&r clothes beforehand for them (which they can do with regular clothes) so thats good. at least us normal people have a better shot.

I think you should be ok , they've only decorated one window , I've only just seen advertisements for it today , guys are less vicious than girls too haha.

Yup thats right, they have to put all stock out & are not supposed to "reserve" anything, however i've seen a manager ask one of her staff to put things aside for her. Naughty naughty

today at school i got in big trouble for stealing a 2 page article on v&r/h&m
(and a few other of the fashion pages )
i need to read it, and i hope its true guys arent as bad as girls...

i dont want non v&r fans to buy any of it!! i love v&r and if i dont manage to get anything i will be so angry, especially if half the people going are buy-to-sell-on-ebay-ers

^Im gonna hopefully have a look in the Leeds store tomorrow but im not sure if i'll be able to 'cause im off to leeds college of art and design then i have to get back to my college in the afternoon, but im thinking just being late and having a wander down into town to H&M....I need some pens anyway

If no then im gonna go in on friday, hopefully it wont be as big as the Stella one, went into h&m at nearly 12 and there was only large sizes left and not many of those!

I'm going to the Beverly Center. They don't have men in Pasadena.
