Viktor & Rolf for H&M

Went to the leeds store at half 10ish today, there was still a fair amount of womens stuff, got the black knit dress (nice and soft) some grey trousers and a mans jumper with the arrow but by the time i was leaving (was wandering round for ages with my mum) there was only a wedding dress, underwear and jumpers left

JR1, there was still a load of mens stuff left though

went to teh Eaton Centre store in Toronto about 10 past 10. there was still a good size line-up so i guess they were limiting access. I couldn't be bothered to wait.

^ i like the grey sweater. they didn't have it at the store i went today. maybe it#s worth coming back for in a couple of days...

OMG I just popped into the H&M in Soho...

There is nothing left but a single bra hanging on the rack. They are wiped out. Oh well...

Had a presentation to give at 10 so I wasn't able to go , wandered in at 1 just to have a look as the only thing I wanted was the trench and that was mainly for the shape and heart buckle. Loads of mens stuf left in the Leeds store , the wedding dresses were gone apart from one. The only thing left was the underwear and some jumpers there were loads of those. I'm suprised how small the collection was within the store.

I just watched it on RTL, it was the Amsterdam store, tomorrow when I go to school I'm going to be the only one without the Viktor&Rolf 'uniform'.

I just got back from the DC H&M. I arrived right around 10 am (opening) and didn't see anyone outside so I thought "that's good, it won't be crowded." I guess they opened the doors early, because when I got inside it was a little chaotic (for DC, nothing compared to NYC Soho when I was there a few years ago on their opening weekend). People were just grabbing all the small sizes, and there were lots of men taking women's clothes (which I thought was odd). Anyway, I got what I wanted which were the tights (they tried to be sneaky by having all the smalls behind the larges and mediums, but I found them). I doubt there will be much left pretty soon because it didn't seem like they had a lot to begin with.

There was chaos the first 10 minutes but by the time I left (around 10:30) the store was pretty empty. The sizing is a lil large, imo. I got the pea coat, the knit dress (so soft), and the tights. But i think I am more excited about the perfume samples in the bag. :ninja:

ditto. im so loving the knit dress.. it is very soft and fits like butter :)

 it was so funny. Really a riot in Amsterdam. And the people were so rude and just grabbing what they could. I love the hysteria..I'm glad I didn't go to H&M. I'd rather save some money and buy the real Viktor & Rolf stuff.

thanks to everyone in europe that posted reviews and shopping experiences so quickly. really helped me a lot in decided what to go for.

i was about 20th in line when i strolled up at 30 mins before the store opened. (hm.com falsely listed the downtown store as having the collection but it didnt - i think this led to confusion - hence less people). there was a security man with a counter counting people as they stepped in. i think he cut off the line at one point.

i reached straight for the black trench and the black peacoat (due to reviews on here). i also grabbed a black ribbon t shirt. i ended up puchasing all three.

i was really pleased with the trench. i  it! fit so much better than the stella trench.

speaking of stella's trench, there was a woman in the line wearing it. i think thats the equivalent of wearing a rock bands t-shirt to their concert.

i also tried on the black trousers. they were a bit high waisted and it was really baggy between my body and where the zipper was. blech. made me look as if i had a "package"! not a good look....

i tried on the black ruffle dress. it was OK. but not exciting enough to shell out 99 bucks on it. same with the black knit dress with the knot.

i think only two wedding dresses made it to my local store. sadly, i didnt get a close look at them. i would have loved to try one on...

also no salmon silk skirts made it to my store (not that i know of). now that i come to think of it, maybe it was wise i didnt get a chance to purchase it, pleated skirts cost extra to dry clean!

the things that were left in the store after 15 minutes were: the black blazers, black pants, gray pants (maybe a lot of other people had that "package" issue...), tons of bras and undies, and the angora sweaters.

the silk things i saw looked pretty thin so i didnt bother to grab any to look at. i would have liked a heart blouse though. (it looked so good on carmen elektra)

retrogurl: i saw two single pairs of shoes. one pink heart show with a ridiculously high heel and one pair of black high heels. both not exciting. your oxford link doesnt work, by the way...

returnofsaturn, i wanted that heart sweater. is that really beading in the pic you posted? or do the threads just made it look like beading?

the heart sweater looked too teenageish and too short for my taste.
the salmon shirt was nice but there was only size 34 left and it looked so short and tiny (would have to wear it with really high waist pants or pencil skirt only).. i think the knit dress was soo worth the 80 euros i paid for it. the material is so nice and it looks great with the belt. in fact, the stupid alarm thing was holding the belt so that i could try in the store (i dont understand why they did that) but it was great when i tried it at home. i can wear it out, parties, or work.. the material is fantastic. i really recommend it. :)

i bet the angora shirts are gonna be in sale for like 10 euros around xmas. maybe ill get mine then and just try to wash it enough to get the lint off..

ohhh my god!!

my mum secretly went to H&M when i was at school and got me 2 jumpers, 2 shrits, 2 pants, socks, jeans and a blazerr...

i couldnt be happier :woot::woot: and it was such a suprise ^_^
i love them all, the quality is amazing and they fit so well

im allowed to go back on saturday and gt some coats and stuff :woot:
the store told her they will get stock in over the next few days every day or smth like that

:woot: big WOOT tonight!

Metro Center H&M in DC was sold out of most men's stuff in like...an hour and a half! all I got was the black V&R <3 H&M tshirt

Im bummed.............I couldnt go. But I did notice that stuff is already up on Ebay.

^yep, and the trench is already selling for over 100, with 4 more days to go....its insane!

I saw on the swedish morning news that only 3 girls were standing in line at about 8 or 9. So I thought there would be no hysteria. Well..... I went to the H&M at Ringen centrum. Loads of people..... The went crazy when the store opened. Women screaming and pushing, so violent. 3 women fell and got trampeled:cry: ..... It was so trashy. Total white trash.:yuk:
Worst of all...they didnt even have the red skirt.

So I desided to go to Bruno galleria, it was such a differnce. Loads of people but NO CHAOS.:flower: Everyone was so calm and nice. Even the H&M staff was calm and helpfull. I bought the red skirt.... The only thing I wanted. But I thought that it would be more puffy.:innocent:

has anyone gone to the san francisco store?

my friend said she was first in line at 545am.

i called at around 1045 and the sales person said she couldnt see the end of the line for the line for the register. there is no line to get in.

If you look at the runway fotos... does it not look like the skirt has an extra puffy piece under it..... or am I wrong
