Viktor & Rolf Monsieur S/s 2005

"Hey Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!"

Wow, i was going sh*t this looks good and then I see everybody feels the same. Good for those guys!!!

I must say I am not a big fan of their womens stuff, But I know they are extremely talanted and seem to be going nicely. They are going to big, big, one day!

 the collection sucks, sorry guys, but those stupid glasses are horrible and the whole figure looks soo immature...

This collection is great. I liked the way they modelled it themselves, they are such characters - it was surreal.

I like it caue it was totally unexpected from those guys. It was modern and well put together collection.
It had an ease to it. Hated the embroidered jacket though. Not trying to be Gucci,D&G ect. :flower:

ok ok ok ok ok... this will continue till the end of times .

The conclusion is that he is stylish, but making me feel uncomfortable looking at his bare hairy in the same time trying to be sexy blah blah blah... :bunny:

a person walking down the street would pair the top half of that outfit wtih a pair of emporio armani pants and a pair of jm westons. or the bottom half of that outfit with a hanro tank, trim linen shirt from sui, and hermes sandals.

no one wears total looks anymore, that's not what runway's about.

I love this collection...it's sleek and simple, uber witty. B) so cute that they modelled it themselves - it makes me think of astrid because she would have loved that. :grrr:

and if they can look good in the clothes, ANYBODY can...

barneys is the only store in the states that carries their clothes, right?

 apparently this is the first time you saw a picture of V and R in real life? It's their own glasses, that's what they wear every day and not something they wear for the runway especially.

I don't like this collection, it's cheesy. But, the tailoring looks VERY sharp :flower:

Not keen either I'm afraid. The shapes are OK, like the slightly baggy trousers with narrower tops, but it's quite "prissy" (or cheesy as Faust said). Plus we've got the jacket and shorts look again! Why why why? They've always modelled thier own menswear haven't they? I actually think it's slightly ego-maniacal to do that. I also think they see themselves as a bit of a Gilbert and George for the fashion world - it's the same idea of self-exponsure in thier own work. So I think even the presentation is a bit derivative.

This is awesome!!! :woot: Everything is near perfect. I basically like everything I've seen so far!

well I think they can do better personally, they ahve talent but have reduced them selves toa veyr comercial level, how every I'm totally in love with the 'magic' motifes

wow! these are the EXACT colors of the proenza schouler s/s 2004 show.

this is wonderful
not as interesting as the women's wear, but definately clever.
Who carries their women's line in NYC, btw?
