Phew, what a relief! Not a baby or belly cupping mum in sight.
It doesn't look like Adut, and there's something very pedestrian about the overall cover. I'm getting luxury magazine vibes from this. Maybe it's the redesign, the garish yellow masthead, or the dress which looks second-hand.
Maybe if she made direct eye contact it may have saved this. Regardless, will still get it!
What in the local Brides magazine f*ckery is this?? Hideous.
I'm NOT getting luxury magazine vibes from this....
too pedestrian despite the dress...
What a gorgeous cover, wow. Love everything about it, it will stand out at the newsstands.
I´m missing the strong eye contact, her hands and a cooler layout, it looks very pedestrian indeed but I love her face, smile, dress and the yellow for me kinda works too
A wedding magazine wouldn't publish an image with blurry leaves in the foreground, because they have standards and their readers have expectations. Vogue just wants to tell people about its values while producing a bunch of covers that - in one form or another - represent something cheap and contradictory.
The lack of eye contact bothers me too and I dislike the yellow Vogue masthead which fails to complement the shot of Adut. The texture of the dress does look lovely alongside the greeny but... this undoubtedly could've been a more compelling cover. A total missed opportunity!
Bridal Vogue AU....
yikes. a missed opportunity indeed
Warm, innocent, gorgeous.
Love it ... its a great take on an Australian summer cover without the standard beachy hair boheme girl ... I think the yellow makes dials up the moderninity ... it's giving me Beyonce's Sept 2018 Vogue cover, vibes .... and I think its shows her beauty well
Awful, what a mess
I don't care about the composition but her face, wow! She's absolutely beautiful and her smile is lovely.
It seems like we'll see a lot of reprints in this issue... Lizzo, Emma Watson and Phoebe WB.
Yes, then there's the fact that this cover shoot was likely stretched from last month's edit with Adut/Alton Mason. I don't know what they're saving budget for because the tab for that UK/Australian Vogue, collab coming sometime in March or April, was picked up by the tourism board.
I actually.. love this? Her smile and that McQueen dress stand out in the greenery, and I don't mind the yellow masthead one bit.
It's just a very carefree cover (art direction and all), Adut looks beautiful and so does the composition.
Also, GQ used the same photoshoot of Alton for their Men Of The Year issue.
I love the freshness and natural look. New year, new start!
