Just saw this at the newsagents. Just looked at it for like 5 seconds cos i was in a hurry but the cover's nothing new. pinched from Kate Bosworth's W cover a few months back and the Vogue lettering is shade of blue that i quite like. It's not stick thin like the other issues and has stuff about the upcoming races.

oh and Emina has an ed. not sure if it's new though

I'm so disappointed by this. Not only do they not even bother taking or even using different pictures for the cover and Kate story, the pictures/story they recycle aren't even from Vogue!

It sucks living here, magazine-wise. Hardly anything is ever new.

I didnt bother flipping through it at the newsagents since I needed to get to the library to study!! But tell me, are the eds good?? I usu decide whether or not the buy a magazine according to the creativity of the eds and the number of ads....

In a way it's a smart move using a pic from W rather than US or UK Vogue

BUT I am now on the "bandwagon" and I will not be supporting AU Vogue anymore. Does the editor not know that US, UK plus other Vogues are available down under. The other day I was bored so I brought that mag Russh and OMG it's fantastic. This is what a mag should be like. I will be buying that each month from now on.

The only thing AU Vogue has going for it is the fact that it doesn't have a lot of words on the cover like US.

the cover is gorgeous (as was her W cover), but the fact that it's from another mag is a downside to me. they should do their own covers, then i would actually buy it as well!!

It seems that Vogue AU is not even trying to compete with the other Vogues, it just feels so lifeless, which is sad

Label Basher I agree, Russh is a quintessential fashion magazine, way underrated, it's fantastic!

I hate her but even i will say she is farrr, faarrr prettier than that cover. It doesnt do her justice. I hate when Magazines recycle photos.. it makes me feel robbed. She has some really lovely photoshoots from the past.. they could have at least used a really good one.

but i love kate....
and i take what i can get...
and right now thats an AU vogue that 'borrows' eds from other mags....

i picked it up today....
kate's gorgeous (but we already knew that from W)....

the god of small things/jewelry ed is terrible....really bad.....
akira turns fashion stylist is fun.....i love him....
lots of stuff on summer and bikinis....

1 page on julia stegner....
nothing amazing but i love her anyway...she's gorgeous....

the wind in the willows ed is pretty....
some beautiful marni dresses and boots....

carmen's 'classic cool' ed is....well, cool....
again, nothing amazing, but she looks incredible in jeans and thats what this is about....

havent looked at the style guide to the races booklet yet....

i wish i had a scanner so i could help you guys out...
