^^^ That beauty edit is awful.
Koto Bolofo and Ben Toms’ edits so far are so more superior to Terry’s. Both these edits display such an assured tone of capturing warm light and the vastness of the space. Like Weber and Ritts. Any of their shots should have been the cover. Or, they deserved to have shot the lead edit with the stars.
God— and Conde Nast, only knows why Terry remains a brand. His photography just screams laziness these days— both in terms of its complete lack creativity and complete lack of technical skills.

^^^ Isn’t that a Californian palm…??? I’d like to imagine the transcendent Transparencies edit is in some oasis, somewhere in the Mojave Desert… And I’d like to imagine a sun-drenched Garret Hedland is in my version of this edit as well...
Hilarious how so inconsistent this publication is: Going from plain lazy Terry’s outtakes of the lead edits, then to such well-crafted beauties as Bolofo’s and Toms’… and right back to the discount Vietnamese nail salon with that Sparkles ModelMayhem mess. What a clueless EIC LOL
