i loathe vogue españa very much, and i rarely buy their issues but this one seems really nice. i really like the green-ish shots on blade runner. the bw shots look like a typical demarchelier photo...it's so weird that the son is doing the exact same thing as his father.

It turns out Katie's ed has a lot more going for it than the cover lets on. As much as I hate that Pucci collection, I think a model with more strength could've pulled off this look better. This particular pose especially is lacking in curvature; while a good model could've brought a beautiful, arching back to complement the dress, we instead get Katie Holmes leaning forward. It's just not good enough.

Blade Runner is a nice editorial but I really don't like the greenish background.

I love the green background and lighting! Strong, but not overbearing or annoyingly trendily neon. Very well executed overall and definitely in keeping with Blade Runner. ^_^

Suvi and Aline look great as well, especially Aline. How I wish this had been Suvi's August UK Vogue ed instead of that Charlotte Pilcher clusterf--k...

Definitely one of the more interesting issues of Vogue España in a while!

Whereas I love Vogue España very much and usually buy their issues but in terms of my own tastes, this one seems rather uninspired. For me, a lot of the content is made of decent elements, but is missing the touch that turns a mediocre editorial into a stunning one.

But you never know what this edition is going to produce each and every month, and that's part of the appeal.

Excellent issue. Thanks for all the scans, Zahana!!

As usual you managed to perfectly summarize how I feel about an issue. There's not much about this issue I really like. I don't really get what people are loving about Katie's editorial.

On the whole though I quite enjoy Vogue Spain, it's a quieter edition though.

:yuk:

what is up with her arms
the pose and the arms are too small :ninja:

the whole ed is beautiful
but I dislike the cover choice

Katrin's editorial is exactly what I love about Vogue Spain. So beautifully styled, shot and executed. The park shots are particularly stunning.

No idea what they were thinking with the cover  So unlike them...

my thoughts exactly, the ed looks even prettier in print
