Vogue España November 2018 : Lupita Nyong’o by Luigi & Iango

If I remember well, the CK collection was about horror movies and Lupita looks like she has seen a ghost.

Wasn't that the S/S '18 collection? She is wearing all F/W here I believe.

Enough with Lupita.
There's a jewelry supplement (with this issue I think), and it has such a sexy glamourous cover!

I love Lupita but I don't like her expression on this cover and also I don't like that hood and her unnatural pose. Sorry, but this is bad.

It's a somewhat underwhelming issue in the sense that everything we see here has been done before, and better! Kirsty Hume being Kirsty Hume, the outdoor Drew Jarrett edit, Ashley Graham going sexy. Really nothing new.
The Lubomirski edit has got to be the most cheapest and tackiest thing I've seen in some time. One can tell he comes from US Harper's Bazaar. The idea is bad, the photoshopping is bad, and I cannot believe such a strong cast was wasted with the concept. Definitely not the kind of edit which befits his status.
Ashley's editorial is passable, but I can't help wondering how great the first shot would've been as a Vogue Spain cover. Very similar to Cameron Russell's one, but still stunning. I am however getting more celebrity than model vibes from Ashley lately. Part of the reason is definitely the lack of high fashion edits, but it seems her management is trying to mould her into an icon rather than a fashion model despite getting a lot of support.
The dance editorial would be even greater with more fashion pieces. Great photography!

Beauty ed with Anna de Rijk is a reprint from Vogue Ukraine July 2018 beauty supplement

Just how can you mess up a cover with Lupita.
